Merchan really undermined our courts the moment he pushed July sentencing to be after election. He basically showed that justice is blind unless you have money and power.
The NYAG requested the delay as well. At the time Merchan was clearly surprised and annoyed, but basically said "well if both of you want to delay I guess I’ll defer… 🤷🏼

The thing is that, there are no consequences. The judge already implied that he won’t even get monetary penalty.
It is ridiculous that he is even fighting it.
