I need to pump up my contribution numbers to match Flyingsquid’s to further dispel that Reddit urban myth that “Lemmy is not active that’s why I’m not currently using the platform”
Don’t bring me into your schemes! 😆
Haha thank you for all the work you do! ❤️
No problem! I’m just glad we’re all here contributing.
Thanks for highlighting that feature, and I’m glad you find it useful! It’s a super simple addition, but one that adds some value to know how active a specific user has been.
If you do have any additional statistics you would like to see, feel free to create a feature request for it on our GitHub.
As a sidenote, I’m a bit concerned about your battery there 😰

i’d like statistics on community activity, post quality.
What about Karma (or whatever it’s called on Lemmy?) my understanding is it doesn’t “officially” exist but some apps are able to surface the stat anyway?
It’s not exposed through the API anymore (as of 0.19.0). I don’t think Lemmy-UI ever displayed it, but some apps did since the API had the data.
It’s still in the DB, technically, but it’s not guaranteed to be accurate and even then, it’s only accurate as far as your instance knows about the activities of the user.
Ah that’s why I don’t see it anymore in my apps. Man, I liked seeing the number go up and having the good chemicals get released.
I’m saddened iOS folks don’t consider PWAs to be “apps” lol.
