Scratch made breakfast sausage, biscuits and pancakes.
For the syrup I grabbed a jar of scratch made strawberry and blackberry jam. Scratch as in I made my own pectin from my apple trees and the blackberries were from my black yard. The sage in the sausage is from my yard too.

Yeah. I’m definitely more about the getting food on a plate than plating food. Because of back pain I’m usually just wanting to sit down by the time I’m taking the picture.
What kind of seasoning do you use for making sausage? I’ve been contemplating making my own since I’ve been eating more of it but can’t find a recipe for seasoning that sounds appealing.
I just went with this basic one. but I prefer Alton Brown’s. You can just start with regular ground pork on his. When buying ground pork make sure to note the package size. Some are 16 oz, 20 oz or 24 oz.
