There has been a lot of talk recently about how expensive it is to keep up with your favorite sports on TV. Weigh in on it here.
Thats weird, its still $0 for me.
Streaming site? Pls halp
Streameast got shut down this year
This one time I accidentally searched for “nflbite” and it was crazy. Lot of illegal sites come up. So, definitely don’t do that.
V familiar with the bite but wasn’t working for me just now
Its not the price thats killing me its having a successful team thats killing me. My whole life has been 1pm Bills games every Sunday. Since JA took over tho were playing 1 to 3 1pm games all season now and every other game time is fuckin 8pm Sunday, monday or thursday pri.etime games. Fuuuuuuck getting drunk that late at my age. I want my 9am tailgate start back for 1pm games so I can be drunk by noon and in bed by 7pm lol
Even worse if you’re a UK NFL fan - MNF is at 1.15am on Tuesday for us.
Being a fan of a good team means either going to bed at 4am on a work night, or trying to avoid spoilers all morning until you get a chance to watch the recording.
Luckily I’m a Saints fan, so it’s not a problem right now 🥲
Yeah, being in good old Yurop sucks for trying to watch primetime games. Especially since most of us are one hour ahead of the UK.
Being fan of a west coast team (LA Rams) sucks even more as most of their games start at 10 in the night. Following the season was possible as a student, but it’s really hard with a job. T.T
Ill flip that globe on ya and tell you about the time I went to Hawaii on vacation and had to be up at 6am just make screwdrivers for breakfast and find a streaming site to pirate the game, then cast it to their unknown brand flat screens in the closed bar they opened the doors to for me and my extended family to watch the 1pm Bills game lol.
Oh yeah, the other way around definitely isn’t great either. Imagine being crazy enough to watch the European League of (American) Football (championship game this Sunday by the way) and living in Hawaii. That’s gotta be a nightmare too lol
No, they won’t, but if they actually did, no, I wouldn’t pay. I’d rather have $631 than watch some NFL games.
Like, imagine if someone was like, “I’ll give you $631 to not watch any NFL games this season.” You’d have to be crazy not to take that deal.
There would definitely be some cutting. Especially since this is only “major” games. Like, there’s $631 to watch your team. Then there’s $631 to watch whatever they decide to show you.
Is there a breakdown of these costs/network? For a certain price, I’m just watching on my phone through NFL+.
Are you serious? It’s over $1,200 for the NFL season? Jesus Christ!
I was going to mention Sunday Ticket, but apparently $500 only covers out of market games. Crazy.
Anyways, I get Fox and NBC over antenna, Amazon and CBS through my Prime and Walmart+ subscriptions, and already subbed to ESPN (standalone, finally!) for college football.
For NFL, all I’m paying extra for is $10/month NFL+ (redzone).
Does ESPN alone cover you for CFB? I refuse to spend the money on YouTubeTV this season watched most of the games in week 1 through the high seas which is fine but I live in fear that a stream I’m watching going down in a clutch moment
ESPN covers like 95% of big college games (like 99% of all college games). I get Fox over antenna which covers most of the remaining games.
Every once in a blue moon there will be an FS1, CBS, or NBC game that I mildly care about. But my main two teams are SEC, so it’s never one of those.
Lol
