It doesn’t count in official statistics I believe. I can understand why Sprints don’t count as races in terms of GP statistics, but qualy and sprint qualy are fairly comparable as far as measures of one-lap pace goes. But I guess it’s simpler to just not count any Sprint stuff.

How can you be P1 in quali but not on pole?
He was on pole for the Sprint race not the Grand Prix
