The article author has no clue what Jamaica’s police are like. It’s not as if they’re the only country with corrupt violent ‘peacekeepers’, only an authoritarian state sings highly of police.

I hoped I’d be able to ride Android until my phone’s updates stop, but I’ve learned that the next Android version has an AI overhaul, and should probably jump ship before it hits. It is coming to Samsung and Google phones in the summer, so probably will be pushed to my OnePlus by June.

I haven’t seen any app, not even corporate-owned ones, come close to the awesome iBooks app (as I understand it Apple nerfed it so I’ll say IOS 3 era iBooks). From what I’ve seen the ABS client is about as good as it gets, but I wish you luck in finding something even more polished.
