This is enough for most projects.

You cannot seed files that are altered. It’s not the same files anymore.
So yes, as long as you want to continue sending, you need to keep the original files around.
When a colleague generated a dia graph for each git object that got created when he made a few commits. Understanding the underlying data model was a real aha moment. 13 years later and I’m still grateful for his “mini git course”.
To blow off steam without focus on a story is very much inline with what we are after.
The downside with rocket league is that if we create tournaments, it is elimination rounds. What do the eliminated people do while the tournament completes. Or maybe I’m overthinking it, they could just play local matches until we decide to start a new tournament.
Deep rock galactic looks like a lot of fun but I’m hesitant about the small team sizes. With 4 player teams we would have to have 4 parallel games going at the same time.
Minecraft is not something I enjoy so I won’t be suggesting that. But if others want to, it might be a good choice
This looks fun. Yes, it is an internet cafe and they have access to a huge game catalog. I’ll see if this is in the list of games they have.
Thank you for the suggestion. I think we want something with fast action and team competition. But I will keep this in my back pocket should the discussion steer towards these types of games.

How does switching the codec help with downloading subtitles from the web?
Is using the Android TV app considered “using it wrong”? Because that doesn’t support downloading subtitles.
But not on the Android TV app.
But thanks anyway, I actually didn’t know that downloading subtitles was supported on other platforms. This should att least allow me to download subtitles via the phone. A bit more cumbersome than having it directly in the app as for Kodi though.
I’m also tired of Kodi but I constantly come back to it. The one thing that Kodi does better than all the rest is the handling of subtitles. I try to use Jellyfin instead but I constantly have to switch back to Kodi because there are no ways (from within the app) to find and download new subtitles.
Do we really want Facebook users just for the growth? Quality beats quantity.
I hate when I have to work with non SQL based persistence.
To each their own I guess. 😇
Why not use a compiled language that compiles to fat binaries (rust, go etc)?
Pick a small bug or feature from the backlog and fix it. First iteration of a fix is probably shoehorned in there, then I try to adapt the fix to the code base. Matching the style and design of the code base is more important than my own preferences.
I’m a learn by doing kind of person.
