George is still ahead on total career whingeing

It’s a fork of a Booklore which was closed back in March. Grimmory is the spin-off by a group of the original developers. So while the repo and project are relatively new, the codebase and lineage is not. I’ve found it to be stable and reliable since I switched from Booklore.

I’ve been using Grimmory for nearly a year now and it’s been great at organising and applying metadata to my poorly organised collection. I dumped all my books into it and let it structure and order the directories. There was a little work to do to verifying the metadata it pulled, but I now have my whole family using it to find and read ebooks.

Its OPDS support also lets me use Moon+ Reader on my phone to browse and read my collection.

Me also, and I can barely afford to run that

You got me wondering what happened to Tiertex and I was surprised to find that they were still trading as recently as 2021!

That was less amateurish and more wtf?! How it wasn’t tragic is a miracle

…yes?

Nah, this was nothing compared to the 2005 USA Grand Prix

TL;DR

1. widen and alter the approach to the turn 5/6 chicane
2. [look at] the profile of turn 13, which is the left-hander straight after La Monumental
3. widening the track around turn 20 - one of the tightest corners on the track with the barriers currently acting as a narrow pinch point

Rawe Ceek!

Hey, Peter, man! Check out Channel 9! Check out this chick!

Korben Dallas - the man just wants to romantically live out the rest of his life with the ultimate weapon, without people sticking guns and microphones in his face. I can relate.

Jokes on them, I grew up playing “Frontier: Elite II” on an stock Amiga 500. My reactions peak at 0.6FPS! 🎖️

A genuinely interesting read, and well written

In retaliation I now post notice that from today Sony does not own the money I transfer to them in exchange for goods or services. They have a limited, time bound, non-exclusive license to those funds which may be revoked by me at any time. By accepting my money, Sony also agrees to mandatory arbitration overseen by my 10 year old cat.
