Thank you! I checked #3 and it’s not that. I haven’t found the setting for #2 yet, but I just wanted to say I really appreciate your help.

I’m actually not 100% sure how to answer that. It’s just a “share” configured through the Unraid UI, being accessed by a docker container running on the same machine (binhex’s Jellyfin image.) I think that the “share” in this context is essentially just a mount point, but it’s also (optionally) exposed as an SMB share externally.
It’s an Unraid share on a local NAS, and the array is formatted as xfs.
I made the switch a few months back as well. Have you had the issue where"Recently Added" just straight up doesn’t work? It’s about 50/50 for me whether my new downloads show up there or not, and if they do, it’s usually inserted somewhere down the list between other things I added months ago. Not sure if there’s a workaround, but it’s my #1 complaint with Jellyfin. Otherwise, it’s been great.

Why is it that seeking defaults to 30 second intervals, requires a click to confirm, and occasionally just jumps to some random point near the beginning of the file? Great software overall, but it’s wild to me that this basic playback functionality is so hit or miss.

I suspect it’ll run on just about any Android or Google TV device as long as the default launcher setting isn’t locked down, and even then you can probably enable it with a couple quick ADB commands.

Saying “X feature will be locked behind a subscription” implies some new pricing model and leaves users who paid a one-time cost years ago wondering if it’s time to look for an alternative or if they’re completely unaffected.

The title could have more accurately stated that remote streaming is becoming a Plex Pass feature. As is, Plex Pass users (many of whom bought the lifetime pass years ago,) can’t tell from the title whether this is a new subscription cost or if they’re completely unaffected.
“Clickbait” might be a little harsh, but I get where they’re coming from.

Think Japanese sci-fi B-movie that never takes itself too seriously. If you can appreciate bargain bin monster movies, you’ll probably dig the goofiness of EDF.
Gamplay-wise, it does get a bit repetitive, but the more recent titles have improved on that somewhat by allowing for more organic progression without having to do quite so much grinding for armor and weapons.

It started with fever and chills Friday night, tested positive Saturday, started Paxlovid Sunday, fever broke by Monday morning and felt okayish enough to work (from home) on Tuesday. That weekend was a blur and we both still have a gnarly lingering cough, but not the worst thing in the world, even as someone with asthma.
I’m thankful to have avoided it for as long as we did. Not having to worry about overflowing hospitals, having access to Paxlovid, and hopefully avoiding any serious long-term damage thanks to the vaccines makes it a lot less scary than a couple years ago.
Haven’t seen anyone mention Decentraleyes yet. Serves CDN assets locally to avoid CDNs as a vector for tracking or fingerprinting.

I’ve used GoDaddy, namecheap, and Google Domains in the past. GoDaddy is the only one I had a problem with, but Google sold to Squarespace recently, and I prefer porkbun to namecheap for the reasons listed above.
It’s a limited run reskin of the same product, except it’s $100 more and comes with the Elite Strap and an Xbox controller.
