It’s kind of crazy how off the rails this series got later down the line.

I think part of this phenomena is that the color of the sky on a clear day just wasn’t considered as a color, it was ‘blank’, the absence of clouds, stars or sunset. Kind of like how water has a flavor but we consider it to be neutral.
The whole gaming industry is in a slump because no one is trapped inside due to Covid restrictions anymore so people aren’t buying/playing games at the same rate they were 2 years ago. Studios are trying to trim the fat as much as possible, regardless of the human cost of restructuring.
You’re assuming that the failure rate for drives are all the same though. Aren’t the failure rates for new high capacity drives typically higher?
That would require Congress to act and Congress is barely capable of accomplishing the bare minimum to keep the budget running so the entire world isn’t thrown into chaos. Asking them to do anything that actually protects consumer rights is going to take either an emergency or an extreme electoral shift.
They want to make VPNs illegal too.
Steam, do not tell my friends of the unspeakable crimes that I commit in Rimworld. Only God can judge my sins.
I’m glad FromSoft doesn’t keep track. Some bosses had to take me at least 30-40 attempts.
You could, but that information gets stale pretty quickly and is tricky to do with the ACLs.
I want to criticize this but I have multiple production environments with no DHCP and the process for provisioning new servers is basically “Guess an ipv4 address and if you pick one that’s already in use the build will fail and you can guess again.”
This is arguably better which is a little embarrassing.
Don’t even bother rebuilding the bridge, my imaginary hover train will be even cheaper and faster.
They “trust me”. Dumb fucks.

There’s got to be so much janky Morrowind code rattling around in that thing.
That’s been my problem. It’s overpriced for just a single camera considering I already manage a big storage pool that my other services can use. But do I want to lock myself into buying other Ubiquity IP cams down the road?
Don’t the Ubiquity doorbells require a ‘dream machine’ storage appliance for recording video? I didn’t think there was a way to use your own storage anymore which has been my main hesitation in getting one.

Yeah D&D leveling is not linear at all.
A single level can make a huge difference. Particularly when you hit thresholds for extra attacks or higher tier spells.
The beginning of the game is brutal. Like normal D&D 5E, if you’re before level three or four a single mistake or a stiff breeze can kill a player.
I’ve played Act 1 a couple times and I bounce around the whole map doing stuff in a specific order so I don’t get wrecked.
Yes, resolution is not the only factor. Bitrate is equally if not more important.
