So, as per the video, it installs an .img file. the fact that in 2001 that wouldn’t be possible explains the whole “can’t get back to windows without a system reboot” thing.

Great video. Some insane decisions made by the devs, you’d think it just runs in a VM, and it kinda does…but it also installs GRUB, and if you boot it from windows it can’t access the network because windows doesn’t release it properly and there’s no way to get back to windows without rebooting the whole computer. Everything seemed to work fine out of the box if you just run it directly from GRUB…but at that point why not just dual boot properly instead of the fucked up halfway bs they implemented?

I bought an old surface pro 5 specifically for formatting and exporting tracks to usb for my dj decks because Pioneer are cunts and refuse to help make their software functional on Linux, even through wine. It detects if it’s being run in a vm or through wine and refuses to work.
Anyway, it came with an eSIM and even though it was wiped the eSIM persists. I’ve not been able to figure out how to get rid of it. One drunken night I think I got close but was told the sys-admin needed to approve the removal. 🤷‍♂️

As someone who identifies as an Anarcho-Syndaclist, I’d kindly ask you not to lump Anarchists in with the Marxist-Leninists. Historically, Anarchists usually get fucked over by MLs just as frequently, if not more so, as by capitalists.
Every Anarchist I’ve had interactions with here has been either pretty vocal about opposition to the political and moral leanings of the people you’re referring to, or think anarchist sounds better than Marxist-Leninist, but actually hold to the ideals of the latter not the former.
