I want to know. Sounds fun.

Cute 15€ game.
Reddit got more important once it Google ranked higher and the astroturfs found out, that people trust a review on Reddit inside a thread more, than multi million dollar marketing scam action, trying to game Google algorithm or other sites. The same will sooner or later happen to the fediverse if it ever grows. It’s unavoidable, sadly.
Damn, if only Spez didn’t have fucked up Reddit. I even wanted to invest in that IPO, but now I’m not going to.
I spend less than before. I used to not buy keys from third party stores, but now I do. I always bought on release, full prices, but now I don’t care any longer if they get my money. The few indie devs that care, sell for less and with less greedy tactics, they get the full money on release or early access.
Everything from Ubisoft/EA/Blizzard is pirated because they deserve no money anymore, they are shit companies that should go bankruptcy.
And even for the few I bought, I might go gamepass now. I regret that I bought a key for Starfield and Cities Skylines 2, should’ve not trusted them. I’ll not pay for their next games/dlcs as I first have to get my money back I spend on them.
I also started to give way more negative press to friends and online, now that games got more expensive I expect better quality. It’s an easy deal.
Maybe they did ask ChatGPT but with the wrong question. Shit in, shit out.
You don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Simply add waiting lists and a max limit of one order per person. Sucks for large families but only until the initial hype is gone.
Maybe the option should be removed, because technically you could create your own private Lemmy instance and mirror everything but disable deletion. Now you have all the information available people deleted. You could go even further and create a browser plugin so everyone else could see all deleted posts. You could do the same and create a plugin, to display usernames of everyone who voted on a post, as that information is publicly available. It’s just hidden. So there’s still a lot of work on Lemmy required to streamline this or it might get never solved.
On another note you could create an instance that only displays deleted content. Now I wonder what that looks like. Scary.
That anthropic principle read just blew my mind. Thanks for sharing. First time I’ve had someone point out those other coincidences, those I’ve taken as given for a long time.
I got to save and re-read that once in a while. Hah
I hope not. I’m scared of the great filter.
The best part is people complaining to them for pointing out that 8gb is laughable little. Ah, the sweet fanboys.
How do you tell it’s copied from Reddit. I haven’t seen a single one but I also use Reddit less and less.
That’s why it needs to be an international project. Paid by every country together. Sure some will initially have to pay more but sooner or later everyone wants to be part of it and pay their part.
Thanks, I’ll check it out. I tried TorToiSe before but couldn’t get it to run.
So what tools did they use to create fake AI voice of her? Asking for a friend.
This patent is pretty bad, or the article is badly written, but it doesn’t sound like an innovation to me. More like spending more money, on an already existing feature of other games. Most RPGs I’ve played have some sort of exhausted, sweating or wet movement animation.
I’ve finished the game and yes, it’s price is too steep. I’d buy it half off. There’s some sort of replayability but it’s small and most might not do it. It’s still a fun game and highly recommend, but not for the full price.
Yes, nationalizing YouTube would work, or more so an Internal team, founded by all nations. Btw Germany has some sort of "Youtube", paid by people and not government founded. It's very limited as you can't upload and only watch. The content is also only what is decided by the owners. Theoretically we'd just need to expand that, to allow uploads and get money by more than just the German citizens. I always had that dream, as it would provide a fully ads free platform. Not sure why that isn't already a thing, as video platforms are an integral part of our society by now.
Same. Since the app stopped working I sometimes accidentally get on Reddit, but not on my phone.
Also Lemmy banned a lot of bot accounts, so the user number is to take with a huge grain of salt. It could in fact be up from before the bot fiasco.
Scary, this dude does more than 3 times as much stuff as me. I don’t even work on open source projects. I wonder how I’ll ever get a new job.
