The f-droid version also supports FCM, which I was a bit surprised by.

3·15 days agoI use nextcloud as a general drive, where I also upload photos automatically. Then I just mount the images folder in my immich container.

3·16 days agoPersonally I host all this kind of stuff using containers, only mounting the folders that need backing up. Then I just back up all my podman volumes. It’s pretty nice not depending on any tools that have to be maintained or anything like that.

6·20 days agoNo, Microsoft, the company, deserves no ones business. I don’t have any particular opinion on most people that work there.

9·20 days agoBecause the alternatives are just bad for everyone. It’s not just that I don’t like the software, Microsoft is an awful company all around that deserves no one’s business. Apple isn’t that much better either.
The reason is very simple, performance. If a value doesn’t need to be changed, don’t declare it as mutable. This isn’t just a front-end thing btw.
In that case the full thing would be
const fun = () => {}

I can use the tablet just fine, I did say it’s a fine tablet overall. It just feels worse to use than my phone with a 144Hz display, and it feels like an odd choice when most phones have >60Hz displays.
I’m running grapheneos on my pixel tablet. My biggest complaint is that the screen is only 60Hz, makes the whole thing feel more sluggish than my phone. Otherwise it’s a fine tablet.
I’m not sure if you can do it the other way around, but you can set up a push mirror on codeberg so you only have to push to one forge.
So did you ever find a proper fix for the crash session restore on a regular shutdown? (Assuming that’s the issue you were having)
This has been an issue for years now, I don’t understand how no one else is complaining about this.
Typing this prompted me to try searching again, this might be a solution: https://superuser.com/questions/1812260/how-to-prevent-firefox-from-restoring-session-on-startup-in-kde-plasma

All of a sudden I have no desire to find out what this means from this article.
I’m planning to get a fairphone before my current phone dies, so I can try out Linux on a phone and still have a good android phone if it doesn’t work out.
I really really hope it does work out though.
