But isn’t that French’s mustard?
French
English
Naming them by the country of origin is almost equally odd to me. You literally mentioned Dijon, which is also French. So wtf is French mustard supposed to mean. There’s probably dozens or hundreds of French mustards.
Not super believable tbh. Cans aren’t some mysterious indestructible material.
Someone once genuinely said my eyes were a beautiful interplay of melanin, lipochrome, and Rayleigh scattering (or something to that effect). Aka my eyes are green. Physicists man.
800 CAD is like 400GBP, to be fair. So this garage thing would be like 2000 CAD.
Droggelbecher@lemmy.worldto Dull Men's Club@lemmy.world•I went to the Optometrist for eye pain. He referred me to a Chiropractor.3·6 months agoTo be fair, headaches in particular CAN be linked to muscle strain in the back and neck. BUT a physiotherapist or medical masseuse (is that a thing in English?) will take care of that, and not a charlatan.
Sorry to be that guy, but be careful with these. Everything will seem darker, so you won’t shy away from the sun as much, but you still get UV in your eyes, which can damage them. They look really cool though!

Droggelbecher@lemmy.worldto Housing Bubble 2: Return of the Ugly @lemmy.world•Landchads take noteEnglish28·1 year agoThere’s so many reasons to still get fastfood.
Some people, especially kids, actually like it.
Some people are picky eaters or have difficulty with a lot of foods due to neurodivergence, and fast food is often the lowest common denominator within a group of people.
Some people are on the go and fast food might be the quickest thing to get (not always the case, I know).
Some people don’t live in a city or town or don’t have access to transportation to a different place, or the time to go there. A fast food place might be the closest place to get food.
You might be in a new location and want to go with a chain so you know what you can expect.
It might just be the only place that’s open on a Sunday or at night.
I personally never get fast food from these international chains anymore, but I realize that’s because I have access to plenty of different options, and I actually like to cook (if I have the time).
They can be helpful if you view them light heartedly as anonymous support groups where you can vent real quick. Not as actual qualified resources.

Droggelbecher@lemmy.worldto Programming@programming.dev•Over 65 years ago this month, researchers ran the first FORTRAN program16·2 years agoThe funniest part to me is how ‘this month’ is absolutely meaningless. It was over 65 years ago last month too, and the month before that
