Why though? Why go through the trouble for zero benefit? Not like you’re going to get the support contract that’s tied to these paid, enterprise-level versions.

Meh, more inane rules that result in random bans for silly reasons. I mean hey, you do you, but dont expect the general public wandering in from various wide feeds such as the equivalent of all/new to know, let alone respect those rules.
Saw the headline, came in thinking “I know there’s a federated version, but can’t remember the name” and BAM! there it is; Abidan in with the save!
The only news I care to hear about people wealthy enough to throw away others’ year’s salary for trends like this… is if and when they get punted square in the nuts.
So far, it’s been slow news on that front.
Now would probably be a good time to mention private trackers. GGn usually has everything, isn’t too hard to maintain good standing, and has a relatively decent community.
I dunno how well it works, or what it requires but https://svgur.com/ exists.
A 38 minute video… and you can’t even tell us the name of the game? For fuck’s sake, there used to be ettiquette to link sharing. A one-liner about what it is must be beyond the 3 second attention span these types have…
Breakfast Bake:
Brown up some bacon, potatoes and onion. Doesn’t have to be cooked soft, but “al dente” is fine. Crack some eggs into a casserole dish, add in the browned up stuff. Bake at 325~ F for like 15~ minutes or until the egg is cooked. Throw some cheese on top for the last 5 minutes of baking if you’re feeling adventurous.
No real recipe as the amounts dont matter too much other than using enough eggs to cover the browned filling. If you use a glass dish, with the exception of the very edge, should also be relatively non-stick, so easy clean-up.
Hamburger menu -> Settings -> General -> “Firefox Updates” -> “check for updates but let you choose to install them”
As for losing open tabs, there’re a few different extensions that’ll allow you to bookmark all open tabs and throw 'em in a folder. Easy enough to do that before updating, then just delete the folder that’s created via the bookmarks manager once you’ve updated/reopened tabs.
Most of that only applies if you’re running your website as a public-facing entity, i.e. open to the general public to browse/use or if you’re running it as part of a business.
If it’s a non-commercial, private-use site you don’t need any of those “requirements”.
-edit- Obviously depending on jurisdiction.
Multiple copies from multiple sources, strip down to just text, run a comparison. Won’t tell you if you have a “perfect” copy, only whether or not what you have matches what is published. Remember that even when purchasing, books often have typos and minor errors.
Most of those options are the traditional text-based, “page” based type notes. There really aren’t that many options in terms of competition to something like OneNote though, where the “page” isnt a fixed size, and supports more than just plain text such as handwritten text, or images, or stuff that doesnt necessarily fit in a neat little square.
Dont get me wrong, there are some fantastic note-taking apps out there that are dead simple to use, but if you’re looking specifically for something like OneNote, then again, super limited options.
