Nobody seriously expects Lemmy to last that much longer than Voat and similar “alternatives”.
Nobody seriously expects Lemmy to last that much longer than Voat and similar “alternatives”.
I’m not giving any of these a chance.
Yeah, 50-500 users is the sweet spot for a community. That’s what we should aim for.
Yeah, about 2-4% of total units sold in '22?
Do you think the majority of nvidia’s customers are redditors?
All of Lemmy and all of Reddit could comply with this without it making a difference.
And the last card I bought was a 1060, a lot of us are already basically doing this.
You have not successfully unionized gaming hardware customers with this post.
The BT’s were scary enough that I couldn’t keep playing, I got to a bit after the part where you get the exo legs.
Starfield is a spacetravel ****tease.
Star Citizen is the **** that will do whatever you want, but she’s bloated and extremely dysfunctional, riddled with bugs and falls over drunk and passes out constrantly.
In My Own opinion, lmao ass off.
Nesnej såkram leinad?
That fucking sucks…
Balder’s Gate leads to Balder’s House where all the cool Aesir are having a nachspiel.
The title being sarcastic?
I’m gonna be honest here: It’s not.
This is like someone posting “homemade is so much better than eating out” and then they post a picture of a pickles, spam and mayo sandwich.
I mean sure, homemade can be better, but what you just posted isn’t. I’m sure you like it, though. But it doesn’t have general appeal at all.
Look, there’s a reason most of the canvas is blank.
But you probably like the lack of activity.
So enjoy it, I guess.
Gonna be honest, Fediverse is alpha as shit.
In terms of being unfinished, not chad-like.
This is gonna take a whiiiiiile to get real good, if reworking these things is even on the table.
Is Mastodon compatible with Lemmy?
I tried to start a Mastodon account, but I got the error message “Validation failed: time zone not included in list”
Partial centralization could perhaps work democratically, If we randomly distribute users to the top five, we’d get a pentumvirate.
One thing I’d like to see is the ability for a user to change servers, to migrate their account. Even if they need to name change. Idk if it could also be set up to automatically forward any mentions of the old username if the user wants that, andalso automatically setting up a link to their migrated account from the old one.
Yes, sounds like there should be Meta’s fake, desecrated version of “ActivityPub”, and the actual Fediverse version of ActivityPub that does not budge to any of Meta’s interests.
I swear, Lemmy users act like they are completely in favor of an instance of 40 users and a submission every other week. Seeing scale as inherently bad.
Lemmy will fucking roll over and die within the year.
