10 months agoDoes this mean we are gonna be able to see comments from other instances? I sometimes see post with a certain number of comments (in the hundreds) but when I open the post I only see a fraction of them.

Why do I see 4 comments on lemmy.ca but there are 28 more in the original post ?
It might be overkill and some sysadmin don’t like using them but Ubiquity with their Unifi model is all I’m using at home. USG as my router/firewall, 24-port 500w PoE switch, unifi cloud key for interface, and an AP-AC-Pro for WiFi access. The access point is enough to cover all my house and even my backyard.
21·1 year agoThere was a problem with lemmy.world where it would not sync with other federation. It has been fixed now.
2·1 year agoBackblaze on a B2 account. 0.005$ per gb. You pay for the storage you use. You pay for when you need to download your backup.
On my truenas server, it’s easy as pie to setup and easy as 🥧 to restore a backup when needed.
Yup, for some reason, I had no language selected at all…
