"So if there’s a good way to use her I’m always happy to come back, however they can make that make sense,” Olsen admitted.

"(…) I just need more, other characters in my life. There’s no longevity in one character.”

I really doubt they’re going to do the Agatha show without her at the end.

This type of article exists for that reason, reminding you who Wanda is just as a connected project is marketed.

Whether or not she’s in it, they want you thinking about it.

It is suspicious that Hollywood Reporter is publishing this article now, yes. But on the other hand it’s just her giving an answer to a question she probably gets all the time

I really liked Wandavision. But, in Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness, they completely reverted her entire redemption arc, so now she’s out of the MCU. For no reason… WTF, they couldn’t think of another villain to use??

Edit: Sorry, didn’t mean to reply this to another comment…

She was corrupted by the Darkhold, which was made very clear in both WandaVision and Multiverse of Madness.

I get your concerns, don’t get me wrong, but she is still there and can still be used effectively. She definitely did not just die at the end of MoM.

Yes, it was made clear that bad book make do bad thing… but in the most heavy-handed irredeemable way possible.

Unless they use a multiverse Wanda, she’s a mass murderer. Blaming it on a book doesn’t change that.

Her high point was almost taking care of Thanos. If she hadn’t been bent on a slow revenge, it would have been different. I wonder if one of Strange’s failed paths is him trying to convince her to just do it without making him suffer.

“There’s no longevity in one character.”

Deadpools “'TILL YOURE NINETY!” line gets me here. You absolutely could have a character go a long time, but as she (and Jackman) said, it becomes how long you’re willing to play them.

Easy, just show/claim she was in fact controlled or possessed by an evil entity, say like Chthon, not just plain corrupted. Just like Bucky was when he was still the Winter Soldier. Just like that Wanda variant in MoM whom Wanda possessed to defeat the Illuminati back there.
