We just lost a million people directly to covid and it resulted in public support for vaccines, masking, and other health prevention dropping. If 2 million died I would have expected Republicans to run around injecting people with diseases directly to speed up the rapture.

Yeah, like holy shit do these people come home and relax to a picture of a crying child?
“It was a tough days work, but at least this boy is still crying!”

Also the Midwest, because they spread a bit after the Civil Right Act.

We have one major duty one too for when we do the floors. We use the handheld one like that for hard to reach corners, dust bunnies under couches, furniture, ceiling fans, and all that kind of stuff. Sounds like this would be a great option!

How do you like it?
We have a different brand that is holding less and less charge as time goes on. I have a bunch of Ryobi stuff already so there is a plethora of power packs available if it does a decent job.

City stuff can be fun or frustrating!
The tall buildings can block orbitals, line of sight for large stuff can make killing shots a lot more difficult than on most maps, and trying to cut through buildings can lead to walking right into a horde of infantry type stuff. On the other hand, watching the human support teams get a kill or two before dying can be pretty entertaining!

So don’t interact with the topic everywhere if you think it is too spread out. I see enough activity here and patient gamers to warrant them being different as they have different focus.
Plus each one is on a different instance. If there was only the one on beehaw I wouldn’t see anything since I blocked that instance.

This community is kind of in the shadow of all the other gaming communities, it doesn’t feel like it has a strong identity to separate it. There’s already plenty of weekly threads elsewhere to discuss what we’re playing and I already feel like I repeat myself between !gaming@beehaw.org and !patientgamers@sh.itjust.works. Do we need another one here? But sure.
What a helpful addition to the discourse!

I picked that up on sale a while ago, but have only played a few quick missions. I haven’t played MW since the early 2000s, but did play and love Battletech 2019.
Does the MW5 campaign give you the info dump while you are already in the mech and moving towards the objective like the older ones?

Helldivers 2, have played at least a couple times a week since release with a group of friends but have been diving almost every night for the last few weeks as one of our other friends is on XBox and finally gets to join us!
Unfortunately he has only had time for one dive so far, but hopefully he has plenty of time tonight.

And Shrek!

More like Bing of Awful IT Practices!
I’ve added this comment effort to my time tracker in story points.

Or it is more likely similar to how people will leave out food for animals they just want to observe as a way to draw them closer. Like bird feeders.

All econimic bubbles are artificially engineered. Housing, pets.com, beanie babies, crypto, block chain, and even gold/silver speculation have intention behind them for creating a bubble that they hope to cash in on before it pops.

Thingu was my introduction to Pingu!

When they stuff it full of new grease any gas that didn’t evaporate will be pushed out.
They will be fine.

Not when it is off and the power is disconnected.

Ryobi introduced the ONE+ battery format in the mid 90s and all subsequent batteries are compatible with any tool for that format. Newer batteries use newer materials and better charges and whatnot, but it is similar to how AA batteries fit in AA battery slots whether they are lithium or whatever else they make batteries out of.
So that is one company that has had a stable battery format for about 3 decades. They do have different versions that have more stored energy, which are thicker packs, but every one fits every tool because the connection is the same.
I stuck on rule 14 or so where you have to know the country based on street maps, but did have to look up today’s wordle (rule 12?) since I don’t play that.
