The Flintstones movie would go on to use this joke as actual McDonald’s product placement. “Over [19] Dozen Served.” The joke landed better when they kept the number up-to-date. Nowadays any sign simply reads “Billions Served.”
Also I can’t help mentioning the newspaper prop.
