Just a heads up, “non-“ can extend to the following ideas in a list if they make sense with context. It’s often used in literature to avoid sounding repetitive. Given the mini-sentence structure dump, can you recognize that I support you and your transition from the bottom of my heart?

If I’m reading you correctly, you’re meaning “non-reconstructive” and “non-gender-affirming”, i.e. you’re only pointing at “Mar-a-lago-face” and similar.

I think everyone’s read you as though you were pointing at gender-affirming, though that seemingly wasn’t your intention.

It can, but it’s often better not to do so to avoid confusion. Especially when it’s something that’s under heavy attack these days.

      • On lemmy, a site that has an overwhelmingly trans positive atmosphere, with a multi-year-old account from an instance that bans bigotry, commenting on an instance that would certainly ban abject bigotry. At a certain point, it’s silly.

If I read that someone on kiwi farms prolifically used the n word, I wouldn’t wonder whether they were black.
