I wanted to be my departments manager, so I walked into my manager’s office with a full script in my head ready for a fight, we’ve butted heads a lot the last 8 months, like pretty much every day I’m in, so I figured he would be really resistant to me taking the rold, but, the complete opposite happened, he jumped up excited and told me I’ve made his day… Wtf! Now I have this fighting energy in me and I don’t know what to do, but now I’m the Produce department manager and I can finally start fixing all the shit that’s been bothering me.

Thank you for your time. I gotta go find someone to get into a disagreement with to get rid of this energy.

I’m not used to getting my way.

      Yeah it’s not like me to do that, but I’ve been actively trying to get better at advocating for myself, I’m quite proud of myself tbh, I did an adult thing and I didn’t get into a fight while doing it.

          He might think that, but this gives me the ear of his boss and I’m in a singing mood. He’s then most incompetent manager I’ve ever worked for and I’ve been working retail for 20 years and I’ve worked with some dumb motherfuckers.

      A whole bunch of shit, but mainly I have to get my teams morale up, our store manager is a soulless ghoul, they type of person to tell a person who’s daughter tried to hang her self " you shoulda just given her the rope", so I need to be the bridge between them so he leaves them the fuck alone. Pretty much undo evey single desicnion he’s made that made our jobs harder or was just absolutely stupid, so pretty much everything.
