First time seeing this? Mastodon and Pleroma already have dozens of these.

We know the playbook: blocks, defederation, and they end up marooned on their own little island.

And if your server doesn’t cut them off? That’s your cue to pack up and migrate.

    Just to clarify:

    This post wasn’t written on Lemmy at all. The original came from Akkoma, then was cross-posted to Piefed.

    So when I ask “First time seeing this?”, I’m not addressing Lemmy users specifically—it’s aimed at the Fediverse as a whole, where plenty of people still don’t realize far-right servers exist.

    I sorta hate defederation (outside of legal reasons). I want as a user to control this but blocking instances does not really work which is annoying.

          Please address comments with “bruh” or at a minimum, “bruv”. If you actually know the person, “brohan” may work in a pinch.

        I had thought about this but like I have not even progressed with experimenting with an image based linux on my laptop. I doubt I will do it.
