I just want to warn you in case you want to transfer certain pokemon back.
I think this signals a fundamental change in how a pokémon’s IVs are generated, and maybe even how their EVs are calculated. I was wondering how they were going to validate 'mons from previous games in Pokémon Champions, and I guess this is it.
I think it’s more likely to be tied to Pokemon in za not having abilities.
They didn’t have abilities in L:A either, and that didn’t stop me from bringing pokemon forward from SwSh or backward from SV.

I hope they get the games to a point where Pokémon are transferable both ways always.
I hesitated moving my Pokémon forward from ds to 3ds and now those are lost to me.
You silly, that’s something Nintendon’t ever do. That’s what toolkits like PKSM and PKHex are for.
(And yes, with those you can still move your mons from DS games to 3DS games)
I heared it’s about the additional language that makes problems, weird reason. And it’s possible to transfer those to future game. But i haven’t found a source for that.
