No. It is available this season as well. They lowered the requirements for this season and added last season’s (which is still happening for 2 more days) to season 2.

One such reward is Delphoxite—the Mega Stone required to Mega Evolve Delphox—which Trainers can claim by reaching Rank S during Season 2. Greninjite—the Mega Stone required to Mega Evolve Greninja—will also be redistributed as a promotion reward for reaching Rank Y during Season 2.

This is a huge change from last season, which ends Thursday. Season 1 you needed rank K to get the mega stone.

It also doesn’t acknowledge that a lot of that is just empty space.

Yes, we have a lot of empty space, but we have very few N/S passenger trains out west.

For example, a train from Albuquerque to Denver is a 45 hour one way ride because you have to go to Chicago from Albuquerque, then back to Denver. This is a 6 hour drive. There is also nothing from El Paso to Albuquerque. However this does not show the train from Belen to Santa Fe that goes through Albuquerque.

When it aired initially I missed a few episodes, I worked an hour away from home and we closed on Friday night the same time it aired. I first saw the 3rd or 4th episode felt kind of lost. Several years later I caught it on sci-fi or something and really got into it.
