Wasn’t expecting lore! I tried to find all the mobster comics PBF did, but I could only find these two since the characters’ names are the titles of the strips.
On closer inspection, the red-haired women who’s the witness is one of the victims in the OP comic. Guess he didn’t kill her!
the assassin is Slim!
pretty sure he’s been in at least one more strip, too. looks like a few of the gangsters are recurring chars that other one is in both of these too
