She looks more Effrosian to me. We’ll see :-)
I finally caught up so I can read these messages, I’m happy :-).
I watched all 7 episodes in a few days. So far, I liked this season very much, it’s kind of sad to know it’s the last season when they finally found their voice. Burnham is quite sufferable finally (even if they had to make her linked to the antagonists… at least it’s indirectly) and the rest of the crew receive some light. Moll and L’ak are interesting and rich. I love to see more Breen. And reflections on spirituality touch me personally, it’s refreshing to see Star Trek treating this subject more deeply than “religion is bad duh” (or with “akoocheemoya”s).
Now I have work to catch up 😅.
We know, but no Star Trek character which live before the burn know about it. The Discovery should go back in time for that, and it’ll always be too dangerous.
And there is the Federation News Network in Picard. A journalist even interviews Picard in the beginning of the first season.
I believe we also see the FNN in Lower Decks, in which they act more like a tabloid than an actual news service.
Cute.
Yes it is.
And I hope they will add Lower Decks one day to the list, even if it’s not live action.
Except Sam. You can see him vibing in the background.
I missed that when I watched the episode, but now it’s my favourite part of this episode.
You can make and propose a mailing list without a pop up…
I did, thank you. And Ploum doesn’t describe the state of XMPP before Google Talk. I think this information change all the conclusions.
Thanks to Google and Facebook it was more widely used. When they stopped their involvement, XMPP went back to its previous state.
The Fediverse is already popular. If Meta embrace it before leaving it, it will come back to its present state, like XMPP. But unlike XMPP, the previous state is a good one. Thus it’s not something I fear.
I do tend to think that we should defederate, but the XMPP example seems irrelevant to me. It’s more like an email situation. That’s something I fear.
XMPP is still alive, and is just what it was before Google used it. I don’t understand this argument.
This is something I would have loved to hate.
Thanks.
