I don’t think I have ever seen that explanation work on someone who is misinformed, but if I am proven wrong then the world will be a better place.

I phone banked for Harris but she was making our jobs harder by taking unpopular positions. What will you have me say to the voter who won’t vote for a Newsom presidency because they take AIPAC money? Because I was told to just move on and call the next person.
His donation pledge was more of a flex because he’s increased his net worth more than he has donated. Also, people who were friends with Epstein should not get to decide where that money goes.
The guy is on the Epstein list and his wife left him because he was too friendly to the guy…
He also fucked over our public education system

Let me see if I got this right: Because use cases for LLMs have to be resilient to hallucinations, large data centers will fall out of favor for smaller, cheaper deployments at the cost of accuracy. And once you have a business that is categorizing relevant data, you will gradually move away from black box LLMs and towards ML on the edge to cut costs and also at the cost of accuracy.

He’s fucking Grok, isn’t he?

Which should be solved by passing a living wage not by cutting food stamps…

I wish when Democrats brought up how silly purity tests are they would use your comment as an example. People eating is more important than starving a corporation.

I’ve seen food stamps used at farmer’s markets, SNAP doesn’t dictate who or how people grow food, that’s a different issue. But hey I guess the situation will improve now that SNAP is being halted, right? /s

Are SNAP benefits are a corporate conspiracy in this world you describe?

It’s still telling you what you want to hear but with a different aesthetic. This will always be the case for systems that can’t even perceive it’s own lies.
“So anyways I built a new language luan and you are a bad person if you don’t appreciate it”

Saying that you’re not worth the time for personal interactions but here’s a reason that’s okay is a platitude.

Additionally, AI will only be getting better,
It might get cheaper, but that doesn’t mean it’s doing a better job.
if the alternative is telling people that are struggling and have no other options that they have to tough it out
That’s just it, if you’re talking to someone who’s is struggling with this there is already a better option: showing empathy. I suspect our perceived lack of empathy is a reflection of how society treats people in general, we are just more honest about it and recognize it’s mostly platitudes.

I’ll be honest, I find the framing of the study offensive and I’m not sure if I have the words but I’ll try.
It’s less about this study comparing itself to no intervention instead, but the social & political context of AI being pushed as a way to make care giving more efficient while sacrificing quality.

half were assigned to use Noora for four weeks and half received no intervention.
If only they gave a control group an off-the-shelf social game like LA Noire or a D&D play group

Did they train this off Epstein’s own statements? Cuz this looks a lot like grooming

Looks a lot like the computer from the recent movie Elio

I wonder what they’ll name that nuclear disaster after…
