No one cares.
No one cares.
If you want pure streaming DAAP using OwnTone is a good alternative https://owntone.github.io/owntone-server/
Personally I use gonic with the Subsonic API, and Ultrasonic on Android. I haven’t noticed any buffering lag, but it does buffer and cache aggressively. For mobile connections I see that as a big plus since it’ll continue to play even if I loose signal for a while.
You could probably run Android on a Pi
there was a recent article here on Lenny taking about how AI
Funny you’d mention Lenny, he’s also a bot! A good one though!
I’ve not seen a single ZigBee keypad. Some WiFi ones but that’s trickier to get working without the cloud. There are also no generic ZigBee tuya keypad listed on the Z2M device list, which leads me to believe there isn’t any I have missed.
Ah you just meant “things” not keypads. I was asking specifically about keypads.
Yeah I have a ton of generic tuya ZigBee devices, they work great. So far only real complaint is bulbs that act as repeaters, they really shouldn’t since they can be turned off at the switch.
I have some of the Xfinity keypads, bit of a pain to setup but they work well.
What are the brands to look for in Ali? I’ve never really seen anything.
I worry that means that someone can connect to my computer directly.
That’s how torrents work. Everytime you’re downloading so.ething you’re connecting to other people’s computers and letting other people connect to yours.
Torrents are P2P. You are downloading from other people who are seeding. If no one seeds, there’s nothing to download. Simple as that. Etiquette dictates you should seed more than you download to ensure the network stays lively.
SSL certs is so easy with let’s encrypt, that really shouldn’t be a blocker.
If you want something easy I think you have your answer with Signal
Radio Free Asia / Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty
Is this another CIA/State Department project? Seriously though, why pick such a loaded name?
But that’s not with HA integration, still using a proprietary app. Lame
At some point way back when, Adafeuit was selling empty shells of the original lockitron… I really wished I’d gotten one of those!
Does it work in local only ?
I use a reversible remote keyboard combo which I find really really nice. I used to have some MX3, they can be had for 10$, sometimes even less, on Ali. It however feels rather dated… But I recently got a G60s Pro and I’m loooooving it.
I’d prefer that it function well with Kodi. Is the Kodi YouTube plugin any good
I think you have your answer right there, why not try it out and see how you like it?
Let’s encrypt also don’t provide client certificates, or intermediates that allow you to sign them, which really is a shame.
You’ll have to be more specific then, cause that is the most common way to change a window to full screen and back on Linux. Wayland or X11.
F11 is the default in most cases to enter and exit full screen. Same as Windows I think (I wouldn’t know for sure, never really used it).
There’s a ton of android clients Subtracks is nice too! Ultrasonic might not get regular updates, but it’s already very complete so there’s not much need.
I haven’t had much issues with gonic and album art, I guess YMMV
