It’s not really setting a precedent, hosting pirated content has always been illegal and it doesn’t help that he bragged about being a pirate.

I hate Nintendo’s practices as much as anyone else, but honestly, play stupid games and win stupid prizes. If you sell modded consoles with pirated games on them without even trying to be anonymous, of course they’re going to sue you and win.
To add to what everyone else said, it’s a known issue. Easy Anti-Cheat isn’t working properly on Linux unless you own the DLC. It’s working fine on my end since I own it.
I’m almost done with the DLC and most bosses are in-line with the last few bosses in the main game. I never felt like it was overly unfair, that said I did notice stuttering every now and then, but nothing major. Wish that got fixed.
Making every community ever in your instance won’t attract any users, the only thing they’re going to see is dozens of empty communities.
It’s honestly kind of amazing that it lasted so long in the first place
Very cool. I think PieFed will be a sleeper hit when it’s stable, right now the spotlight is on Lemmy and Mbin but I’d gladly switch to it if it has better features. I like the idea of topics to make content discovery way easier. Polls seem nice as well.
They’ve been hyping these up since forever. Aren’t the laptops supposed to release this month? When will the embargo be lifted so we can see real benchmarks?
This is insanely good!
There’s even a deluxe edition of the game that comes with a physical version of the manual! Though having all the pages from the start is a little spoilery.
Better late than never.
If somebody hasn’t played Jak and Daxter yet, now is the time. It’s a lovely 3D platformer, I can’t wait until the whole trilogy is ported.
Shovelware means games that are really low quality that some studios spam to try and get any money with little effort. Like garbage free to play games on mobile.
I’m surprised the difference isn’t much higher, but I guess there’s a ton of shovelware on the Switch.
Now that’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time… I remember when hold forward line rider maps were all the rage on early youtube.
At this point we’ll know all of Qualcomm’s company secrets before their chips release…
People that have this opinion often only play AAA games. There are a lot of indie games that channel old-school game energy and improve upon them. Shovel Knight for example is a lot better than old platformers wish they were. A Hat in Time is a ton of fun compared to the vast majority of PS2/Gamecube 3D platformers. Hollow Knight is better than any Metroid game (I know a lot of people would disagree, though).
Insanely bizarre, Germany has historically been pro-open source and the EU was just saying that the Fediverse is here to stay.
I hope they’re actually good this time, the 8000 series was literally just a renamed version of the 7000 series.
The apocalypse will happen before we get Bloodborne on PC
