Last epoch is a steam game. And on protondb it’s platinum apparently.
Never had a good experience with it on Linux though. Buggy as hell.
He/Him
Last epoch is a steam game. And on protondb it’s platinum apparently.

The two I tried recently that were problematic were wow and last epoch.
Allegedly they both work fine. They don’t though.
Mostly Debian and arch. But I’ve tried bazzite too at one point.
Experiences range from 5 years ago to like. Today.
And all my hardware is amd as well.
I’ve read people saying this here on lemmy often.
But it really hasn’t been my experience at all with very few exceptions.
I read people online saying this often. But I’ve neve been able to play things without hiccups on Linux before.
With very very few exceptions.
I just wish games worked fine on Linux.

First one was better and felt original.
Second one was a good movie and a fun watch still though. It wasn’t a cash grab or anything like that.

What are we going to do about it?
Quit whining about it and make a good community outside of those.
Be a good community member yourself.
I see myself coming less and less to Lemmy due to how monotopic this place is. And how aggressively stupid people here can be.

Same. And it’s not just the amount of content.
The amount of times I’ve had a reply with someone obviously trying to be pedantic and argumentative saying “define common thing” is off the charts.

What’s wrong with lemmy.ml?

It’s weird to me how people(are they?) here bend over backwards to defend a monopolistic drm platform like steam.
I get gamers like their games. But come on.

It surprises me too. I suppose gamers do really like their proprietary DRM with monopolistic practices.
Destiny
When I first played I had a wiki open on my second monitor for about the first month I was playing.
Love the game. One of my favorites. And the artwork and music are second to none.
It definitely has the worst onboarding experience ever though.
BG3
It does have deep systems. But you can just pick what feels right to you and the game will accommodate you.
It’s a masterpiece.
The only problem this site has is lack of content. And the only thing that would fix it is more people.

Install Plex Radarr Sonarr and Jackett.
Select jackett as the indexer for both sonarr and Radarr.
Select your torrent program as the main torrent program for both radarr and sonarr.
Point the Plex library to whatever folder you selected to use on Radarr and Sonarr.
And that’s it.
Don’t let people here make you feel like you have to defend yourself for the things you like.
“I love windows” is a phrase only uttered by the truly deranged. But if you love it you love it.
Merge is love merge is life, get the hell out of here with that rebase witchcraft.
Your power supply is fine.
If you feel you can deal with your CPU for a few more years just upgrade the GPU and call it a day. A 3070 or a 6700xt would feel like a huge upgrade.
Having that said your computer is still entirely serviceable. I’d just hold on a few more years and upgrade the whole thing.

Oh I totally misread the question. My bad.
Answering the actual question. Any game that spams me with dark patterns bullshit is immediately unfun.
Oh here’s your daily login reward! Ready for your dailies? Oh just fuck right off.
I tried to like Krita. I’ve used it extensively for a few years. But it’s just not good. For all the reasons mentioned in this thread.
