I canceled my subscription after the most recent price hike. Disney pulled off of YouTube TV a few weeks ago, though, so no ESPN. If you want to watch college football, you have to subscribe to their service, which I imagine would lead to a surge in subscribers.

I always wondered with episodes all the way back to TOS The Man Trap, how could someone not have some sort of sensor or visual record of what happened on the ship? Vash can seemingly go anywhere she wants to pilfer relics. The Kazon can waltz around Voyager without security being hip to their game.

We have a lot of sprawl here and the reasons are many. Just like Dallas and LA, we have a ton of road infrastructure and zoning laws that eat up a lot of land. We also don’t have any natural barriers, like an ocean or a mountain range, to limit our expansion. Just to keep building and add another lane. Thanks for asking.
Marchetti intended the constant to be 1 hour round trip, so a half-hour commute one-way. It’s an important distinction, since here in Atlanta the exurban commuter is clocking in at 1.5 hours or more into the city, well outside of what is considered tolerable. Multiply that by a million and you get some irritated people.

It’s a comedy, so I hope so too! I imagine the planet, being a vacation/pleasure planet, will have a lot of kinks that are taboo to the Federation and that’s where you will find the narrative tension as they apply for membership. The planet will have a constitution at odds with the Fed, full of kinks. They might welcome species that have kinks not outlined in said constitution. They might welcome federation citizens that are exploring their non-Fed kinks on this planet.
We’ve seen plenty of criticism of the Federation’s nanny-state. Lately, that criticism has come from the writers of the shows who seem to have lost the narrative that the Federation is our ideal. Sure, it has issues, but none of us should be ashamed of reaching for utopia. I hope the new show is a continuation of the SNW and Prodigy reboot of a less cynical Trek.

The smoothening virus, as per Phlox, would eventually be bred out of the Klingons. Kang, Koloth and Kor had plastic surgery to restore their ridges. From this, I could only assume that the writers might show a smooth forehead Klingon and give a character, probably a young one, a throwaway line to pay a little fan service.
I really enjoy the lengths that the writers go to connect the many decades of Trek. It just proves that they are nerds themselves, as it should be.

Tears of the Kingdom and Minecraft would be important to save for their infinite playability due to their physics and craft engines. Final Fantasy 6 for story. Stellaris so people could have a competitive, chess-like monster to wrap their mind around. And Bonk for TurboGrafx16 so everyone could know that game design just doesn’t happen overnight.
