freetube, invideous, if someone reuploads it somewhere on peertube, ytdlp, ytfzf, etc many ways to consume youtube content without google making a dime of you or tracking you. I’m lazy so I just use freetube.

rozodru@lemmy.worldto Not The Onion@lemmy.world•Reddit CEO pledges site will remain “written by humans and voted on by humans”English17·10 days ago…with AI admin and moderation. Anyone who’s been banned from reddit will tell you that, hell it says as much in the message they give you. I was banned once for saying “slava ukraini” which according to my ban was a direct attack at a minority (apparently russians are a minority according to reddit bots) and then another for asking how long before citizens begin shooting at ICE agents which, again according to reddit bots, was inciting violence on a minority (ICE agents are now also a minority according to reddit).
the vast majority of posts and comments are bots. the obvious reposts with misleading titles to generate karma to allow said bots to have enough karma to then post on various other subreddits to push whatever bullshit agenda or product they want to push.
rozodru@lemmy.worldto Fediverse@lemmy.world•How could we convince Reddit subs to move over to Lemmy?English81·8 months agocan’t. the ones that are still there wouldn’t understand how to use lemmy and the fediverse and they’ll just bash for the same reasons that bsky users bash mastodon. They want things to “just work” out of the box and are too lazy to figure things out.
rozodru@lemmy.worldto PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•EA Anti-Cheat arrives for Battlefield 1 breaking it on Steam Deck / Linux42·9 months agoHonestly Valve needs to have a policy for this. If a game that once worked on Steamdeck and now no longer works after publisher intervention then refunds need to be issued. I have BF2042, BFV and BF1 and 1 was the LAST one I could still play on Linux. Now I have 3 digital paperweights that I can’t play anymore. I want my money back.
rozodru@lemmy.worldto RetroGaming@lemmy.world•I rented many games solely based on their covers, only to be mildly disappointed when I got home.English11·9 months agoyeah after posting this I read the story on Destructoid about it. It worked. it was a meh game but the only reason I wanted to play it was because of that box.
rozodru@lemmy.worldto RetroGaming@lemmy.world•I rented many games solely based on their covers, only to be mildly disappointed when I got home.English38·9 months agoI remember renting Phalanx just because of the box. like “why’s this old man playing the banjo?” then you look at the back and it’s a friggin space shooter. I had to rent it.
rozodru@lemmy.worldto Star Trek Social Club@startrek.website•The Official Teaser Trailer for Star Trek: Section 31 Is HereEnglish3·11 months agoSo Star Trek Online is an MMORPG and has been around for a several years now. In the game there’s a story, a convoluted one, but a story none the less.
Now imagine every single thing that has ever happened in the entirety of Star Trek regardless of tv show, movie, timeline, multiverse, animated show, whatever. everything. think of everything that has ever had “Star Trek” in it’s title. got it? good. it’s in the game. and in the story.
One aspect is the mirror universe which is a decent chunk of the story and it’s a good excuse to bring back old Star Trek actors whose characters might be dead. Like there’s A LOT of mirror universe stuff in the game.
really at the end of the day Star Trek Online is essentially the multiverse nexus of all Star Trek.
rozodru@lemmy.worldto Star Trek Social Club@startrek.website•The Official Teaser Trailer for Star Trek: Section 31 Is HereEnglish7·11 months agolooks like Star Trek: Suicide Squad.

rozodru@lemmy.worldto Marvel Studios@lemmy.world•[DISCUSSION] [SPOILERS] Deadpool & Wolverine9·1 year agoone of the best MCU movies in awhile, that they even acknowledge in the film. felt like one of the first marvel movies that was a real love letter to fans of the comic books as there were quite a few deep cuts from the comic books. Cassandra Nova was prety much ripped right from the comics as far as her looks and personality goes. Lady Deadpool, Marvel Zombies Deadpool, Ultimate Deadpool, Kidpool, Deadpool 2099, Zenpool…like wow I was even surprised they had Deadpool 2099 in it. the first live action version of a 2099 character.
great movie. and man Gambits costume was just spot on, even had the weird cross hatch neck thing. pulled right from the comics and cartoon.
at this point I wish I owned a crutch factory that produced outstanding crutches. I would make a killing selling them to Israelis.
And these fuck sticks are all surprised pikachu face that anti-semitism is on the rise world wide. Hell even here in Canada you have people spray painting Jewish schools, businesses, and what have you. The largest Jewish school here in Toronto has 24/7 police presence they even have a damn SWAT Truck parked outside the school. But as soon as a Pro Palestine protest happens in Toronto oh boy is the Jewish community quick to condemn it and then act surprised when people tell them to fuck off.
And yes I’m well aware that not all Jewish people support what Israel is doing but it gets drowned out by those that would love nothing more than to wipe the Palestine people off the face of the earth and claim their land.
And it’s not like these people learned nothing from the Holocaust, oh no dear reader they learned plenty. They learned how to commit genocide and use those that were murdered in the Holocaust as props to proudly say “it’s our turn now.”
