Nevermind. Nothing to see here, move along.

Why would be this be a concern? If they publish it in cartridges to be used in original systems, it shouldn’t be a problem for Nintendo, especially if the developers pay Nintendo whatever licensing fee needed.
That still doesn’t negate what I said and I specifically worded it the way I did for a reason. There is a difference between taking funds from an incubator that runs as a non profit and taking money from the vulture investors who demand a large chunk of the company and therefore control for the funds they inject.
Where did I say anything about the law? You clearly have an agenda and you can fuck right off with that.
I’m blocking you now because I don’t have time nor do I think you would understand me or anyone else explaining this, even at a 1st grade level.
They can’t. I’ve seen similar critiques popup and I’m certain it’s a shill trying to move people away from proton. Why? To what end? No clue on either front.
Proton is the shiznit. They answer to no one except their customers. They are self funded with lots of help from us. They never took any money from the investment firms that would try to control how they do things usually to the detriment of quality, security, etc.
You need to check yourself before you wreck yourself. Chrome has always sucked. I use it when something doesn’t work right with FF but with the changes being made under the hood, I’ll probably be using it less and less as time goes on.
As for F versus FF. I was shortening F-u.c+k. There are some bots roaming the fediverse censoring things.
The above said and this attitude means I am going to block you. You have a nice day now.
To echo others here. Why the F would you do that? I’ve been running the nightly build of FF for years and have never had any issues. I am on windows for what that matters but still.
As I said in another comment. At one point in time I’m fairly certain that they were round filing any dmca notices but that could have changed. I know for a fact that spectrum forwards them (because I’ve gotten a few over the past few years). I now pay for a seedbox and I use resilio sync to make moving them to my nas mostly hands off.
Iirc, at one point I believe they were round filing any dmca requests. What I would suggest is use Proton or another vpn that has settings for this type of traffic. I don’t remember seeing anything about them throttling non pirated files transferred over those protocols but I haven’t paid attention to them in years because I moved away from the area they were rolling out.
Already done. I’ll have to double check and make sure it’s on super seed but I added it yesterday.
I’m working right now but I will add this to my seedbox when I get home. I’ll leave it on for as long as I have that box.
I’ve never had an issue but then again I don’t use it for much more than movies and TV. If sync thing supports qnap I might check it out but I’ve been using sync since it was launched (if not soon after).
Sync by resilio. I use it between my computers and nas and between my computer and my vps and my nas and my vps, I also use it between my work and personal phone.
This is the way. It’s just me who watches stuff off my nas and I’m fine with vlc so I don’t use plex or jellyfin or whatever. I have an old (at this point) qnap nas that I’ve been doing the same with. Mine is a total of 40tb’ish iirc. I definitely need to get a second nas and some more drives but for now what I have is enough though I am going to run out of space soonish.
Shit dude, give me access to most things I want to watch and most of the stuff I’ve forgotten about and that’s worth $50/month as a minimum.
I’ve come full circle back to wearing an eye patch. I was using amazon, hulu, hbo and paramount, usually letting some lapse or pause to watch stuff on the other ones but they have all gone to shit. It’s impossible to find what you might be interested because just like netflix they show the same shows/movies in multiple categories and their search sucks ass plus they are all missing a ton of good shows.
Now I am slowly downloading shows from the past that I don’t already have in my library and haven’t watched in years while I keep an eye out for new shows I might be interested in. I use showrss to auto download current shows that it has in its DB to a vps and I have sync setup to mirror it to my nas so I can stream it to my TV with vlc. So much easier than opening hulu, finding the show I want to catch up on, etc.
I hadn’t even thought about the voice. Holy shit you’re right, that’s going to be bad unless they auto tune it to sound more like game Roland. Though I fear they will lean into his voice and it will be horrendous.
This is what threw me when I first heard about this, Roland is like 6.5ft tall at minimum, Kevin Hart is like 4ft tall, even with prosthetics, risers, creative film angles, etc we will know how tall he really isn’t and it will break the illusion.
Yeah, this one is going to suck. But, I’ll probably watch it anyway as soon as I can download it from the high seas.
Only when I overdue it with it caffeine and other stimulants.
