To be honest I’m not sure how to browse if you haven’t installed the game. If you want to copy from another game you can save the configuration as a template and then import it to the other game.

I have a Steam Deck and was considering “upgrading” to something that has more power.
But then I wanted to play Torchlight 2, an action-rpg designed for mouse and keyboard that does not have controller support. I wasn’t even going to try it, but saw that Runic Games had an input profile for it. The left stick controls your character like it supporter controllers, but it’s all using the mouse. The touchpads work for precise targeting. And I’m able to use all 10 skill buttons using modifier keys and adding the back buttons. Plus I was able to easily adapt this to Diablo 3, a non-steam game without controller support.
If you want to be limited to games designed with controllers in mind, go for one of the alternatives. But if you want to be able to play mouse and keyboard games, there’s nothing that competes with the Steam Deck.
I think he means tabs along the top like on a PC browser.
I’m just wondering where the heck the PC port is. Not going to lie, I would buy it at full price if it were steam deck compatible.
Views that show you multiple communities would be great. Let me see both major Steam Deck communities in one view.
It makes sense that general purpose instances would have the most users. I’m not a programmer so while I could still register there why would I pick programmer.dev?
The bigger issue I had in picking an instance was just in understanding the differences. I think it would help if instances advertised their stance on defederation, moderation, etc… to help people make a decision (or even to see that lemmy.world may be more similar to some other instances than they might think).
Ha, touché. But the difference is that Reddit was already monetized via ads, while Lemmy is not.
This is my biggest problem with it. I have no issue with Sync charging. I have an issue with Sync charging and not passing anything on to the developers of Lemmy.
The Turtles collection is a great example of this. Rewind, save states, even some debug mode stuff. Well worth it.
Rata rata rata tan
I’m kind of an anti-purist. Give me an emulator with save states and rewind, a scalefx filter and whatever other nonsense. Add on the convenience of emulators and it’s no contest for me.
I think part of it is a discovery problem. Which, I know, I don’t want some algorithm telling me what content to look at, but it’s tough to find all the stuff I’m interested in just by searching.
Fuck. Yes.
