Which begs the question I’ve been asking for some time now: If someone tries to run someone over, and they respond by (non-fatally) shooting the driver, who gets arrested? (Assume both are white republicans).

Sort of like how they erased all the evidence of “Sinbad’s Shazaam” and then gaslit everyone that remembered it?
Priority #1 for me: DOES IT HAVE A CUSTOM NODE SEARCH FEATURE?
If I want to search for, let’s say, a node that generates a random number to input into another node’s input, and I have 12 large node packages installed: the old way is to manually search every directory and sub-directory until I find it. Can we just get a simple search function?
What are the laws around renters eviction vs. housing eviction? Might be that it could cost a bank years of lawyers to get the money back on a house, but your junk can be all on the street and a new tenet in your apartment with a quick call to the cops about back due rent.
If you put down 100%, the monthly payments go to almost zero! (Taxes and home insurance)
Is animatediff open source?
There should be “Last 3 hours” in the drop down menu. 6 hours just shows you stuff you saw 5 hours ago, and 1 hour shows like 3 posts.
Ironically it is now working for this comment.
Is anyone else having trouble with the “show context” button? When someone replies to you, it only shows what they said. When you click “show context”, it… only shows what they said. The only way to see what you said is to copy their reply and “show rest of comments” and then search for it - that is if it isn’t on an instance that hides replies after the second level.
Probably the same way a hybrid gas-electric car is more fuel efficient. In a hybrid, the battery revs up and down with need while the engine just powers the battery at a steady clip. Since the engine can run constantly at a fix optimum speed, it is more fuel efficient.
Likewise, I figure, each server has a certain amount of bandwidth. If everyone is on one server, all the posts and comments come at random intervals with spikes and troughs. Either the bandwidth gets throttled, which causes lag, or all the comments go through at the same time, which uses a lot of bandwidth. With multiple servers, those posts get federated and (probably, I’m guessing at this point) wait for the federated server to signal that they are no longer busy, which flattens the bandwidth demand.
It wasn’t any of the admins. Someone just got a hold of a real world JWT token of one of the admins and XSSed all over the Meta’s sidebar at the meeting.
I was going to say I don’t use Linux, but I just noticed I have a Linux partition on my window 10 machine - and I have no idea how it got there.
