Model is Uptech SW-116, it has “Uplink” port and 16 LAN ports. It also uses external power.
WAN and LAN1 ports on router 1 is used. LAN3,4,5,6 and Uplink ports are connected on the switch. (model is Uptech SW-116) Uplink is connected to LAN1 on router 1. Other connections go to wall. I disconnected other routers, problem persists.
First router has DHCP enabled with range 192.168.1.20 to 192.168.1.80. Second one has “DHCP Relay” enabled with relay server set to 192.168.1.2. Third router has DHCP disabled.
2nd router is used as a wireless AP, getting rid of 3rd router is exactly what I am trying to do.
The problem isn’t possible dependency conflicts, it is file mamager integration. GNOME and KDE use different systems for integrating online systems with their file managers and obviously both need to be supported. FUSE could work but telling from my experience with NTFS3 it would be unbearably slow.
FYI, Plasma Bigscreen is not ported to Plasma 6.
Nope, you can install extensions to regular FF for a while on Android. Go to addons.mozilla.org and install like how you would do it on desktop. Request desktop site if extension claims to be incompatible.
Dark Reader is intensive, I will give this a shot. So far so good on FF mobile.
Subscribed + New is a great way to find new relevant content
enhanced-h264ify prevents my PC from cooking itself when playing YT.
Not anymore, if you use desktop website of addons.mozilla.org, you can install almost anything.
What is google cookie policy? Removal of 3rd party cookies? Also ublock works on regular firefox.
YES! Stealth is awesome, I would love to use it on Linux.
I do. I have Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock on PS3. Console has 300ms latency which is a dealbreaker while RPCS3 on laptop or even just Clone Hero has much lower latency. If you have multiple consoles, emulation can bring all your consoles into one. I also have H.A.W.X 2 which drops frames on PS3, maybe emulated could run better. I want to freely approach frigates from low altitude without factoring in FPS drop when I blow them up :)
For the Steam library I suppose?
I meant RAM deduplication. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=linux+same+page+merging&t=fpas&ia=web
For on disk deduplication, Steam supports user-specified locations for installing games and dependencies like Steam Linux Runtime. 2 users can theoretically use the same Steam library at the same time. To evade issues, auto updates should be disabled in the Steam clients. Steam doesn’t support completely disabling updates afaik, the best is setting update period to 3.00-4.00 AM. DXVK cache files must be located outside the Steam library folder. Otherwise if 2 people play the same game with Proton at the same time, cache files may be corrupted. (the default is the folder with game exe) Info on changing cache file location: link
I tried to do sth similar with limited success using Steam remote play. This is great but I have 2 questions:
I can reach the login page on FF Mobile with user agent switcher + desktop mode
I install KDE Plasma on laptops I intend to use as a server. If the PC is easily reachable you can use the GUI to quickly manage files or use the terminal. Disable search indexing if you install GNOME or Plasma. I never used Debian but I assume the base system is as clean as it can be.
