I know it was later in the console’s cycle, but the PS3 had Grand Theft Auto V. Yes, GTA5 has been the most recent installment in the franchise for that long.

When the first one was in development, the lead designer was going leave the games industry and go back to university if it didn’t do well. In addition, SquareSoft was on the brink of bankruptcy, meaning this game could very well be the final game either of them were going to release.
It also removes an emphasis on any one particular planet’s day or year.
This population density map will probably help explain the difference.
I see commuter rail lines out of Chicago, Boston, and New York, at least.
The last scene is a little heavy handed with its foreshadowing, but it’s one of my favorite bottle episodes.
The signature at the bottom of the letter makes it all make sense.
While there were a ton of GI Joe toys, the series was a few years too early to get beat-em-up arcade games the way that the Ninja Turtles or the Simpsons did. This new game looks like it’d fit right in at a Chuck E. Cheese in the early 90’s.
This is the Season 2 - Generations chair. I wonder what happened to the Season 1 captain’s chair, with its flip out armrest displays.
Staying in one spot was an asset, it helped justify recurring guests and villains if everyone’s in the same neighborhood. There’s no way the Kazon should have been bothering Voyager after Season 1 if they had been making a bee line for the Alpha Quadrant.

The D’s saucer is an oval, wider than it is long (“the fat one”). Voyager’s saucer is long pointy, kind of shaped like a spoon.
Jumping on the personal top 5 bandwagon:
There was a lot of that in that era. Arcade games had financial incentive to be hard as players would tolerate to eat as many quarters as possible. The home ports carried this difficulty over, and many console originals picked up on it. (See Battletoads.)
George Takei killed it in his role in Yakuza: Like a Dragon. (Literally and figuratively, he played a hitman-come-mob boss and a father figure to the game’s protagonist.) I wish he had more screen time in the role.
He directed and guest stared in the 100th episode of Voyager, “Timeless,” where Geordi had been promoted to captain of the USS Challenger 15 years in the future. 100 is an important milestone episode, so you know the show runners has confidence in him as a director to assign him that episode.
Further proof that Enterprise NX-01-era Starfleet had the most functional uniforms. Pockets and useful accessories.
Also my reaction while watching the last 10 minutes of Across the Spider-Verse, not realizing it was a two-part movie.
Kirk is temporarily transferring to the Enterprise, so maybe she needs to get him set up with XO-level security credentials in the computer. (The kind of thing you need to do, “Computer, eject the warp core, authorization Kirk lambda two six two.”)
A Neptune was going to be a Genesis / MegaDrive with a built in 32X, so yes, there are plenty.
