I have an idea for a series I’d like to write that fits this somewhat. In the Kelvin timeline before Romulus is destroyed but after Voyager, the Romulans decide to stripmine their doomed solar system, build a fleet, and go on a conquest to subdue Federation territory starting with Earth. The war would be an over-arching theme but the episodes would still be mostly self contined challenge of the week type stories based one ship & crew but with glimpes of what other crews are going through, but also flashbacks to how the invasion got started showing how we got to “now” without dragging it out.

I was more irked that she said the Federation did good throughout the Galaxy. The Federation has always been limited to this Quadrant. Romulans to the left of me, Klingons to the right. The entire premise of Voyager and DS9 was a wormhole to other parts of this galaxy, neither of which have taken place yet. Even the Borg have not spread to other Galaxies yet that I know of.

I’ve never been one for brand lockin. I did the same journey OP doing. Here’s what I want; and here’s everything on gsm arena that comes close. The lgv5g simply blew the rest out the water and because it was discontinued I got it for a quarter of the price. This was two years ago when 5G was just starting to hit towers in my area, so 5G phones besides Apple and Samsung were slim pickings. Getting something with an sd card, headphone jack, USB c port, wifi6, and waterproof all in one box? End of discussion. I’m tempted to grab another for when this one dies.

It’s still getting updates and when that stops I’ll use a custom ROM if I can.
