I don’t even know myself because I installed it via YunoHost

Europe’s largest cloud and hosting provider
It’s the first time I’m hearing about IONOS. Are they really larger than OVH?

Using YunoHost saves a lot of hassles

To be fair, watching random YouTube videos can be demotivating. A transcript would be much nicer.

I’ve tried writing a resume last month and prepare a presentation (Writer and Impress). And I was very frustrated by crashes and lack of features. The interface is quite good, more intuitive than the MS equivalents.
However, OnlyOffice was really nice to use.
Thanks for the detailed comment!
I felt completely lost. What is Terraform?
Terraform is a tool that codifies cloud APIs into declarative configuration files to automate infrastructure provisioning and management
Not exactly sure what that means, but that may help someone!

For email hosting only. But yes, they are not as trustworthy as they once were

Strangely enough, that’s what I thought for a long time but not this time. Removing the lines I saw makes absolutely no sense unless you’re selling users data, which I strongly oppose to.
I’ve started to use librewolf, unsure if this is a good idea.

Misskey seems really popular looking at numbers. I’m confused because nobody talks about it. Is it because of some niche super active audience?

Unfortunately yes.
I’m a minority: I’m using Signal a lot, as well as Mastodon and Lemmy. However I was describing the situation around me and they’re largely using Meta products.

I don’t mind having 2 tools: one for public conversations with strangers and one for family and friends.
WhatsApp has replaced Facebook for family and friends here in France. However, I keep using Facebook due to local groups and town hall posting there.

I think some Fediverse mods are more extreme and biased than their equivalent on Reddit.
For example, criticizing the anti-men stance (as in: nothing to do with feminism) promoted by jlai.lu admins for example got me my ban. My first ever ban despite being very active on Reddit for 10 years prior to migrating to Lemmy.
Smaller communities do feel like an echo chamber as a consequence.
PS: sh.itjust.works admins do look fine though!

I couldn’t find a problem for which I needed IA as a solution. It may happen in the future though.
Thanks!
Nice, well done. I wish I could find the same for Debian.

Well, no

So, calculations are not actual software… I’ll stop there.

I work in investment banking environments (calculations). Python is everywhere. Java and C++ as well.
No manual intervention and no issue here (KDE plasma user). Smooth as always.
