Blame the popularity of reaction videos, because they’re dumb in general for ever existing.

About as impressive as when Sonic 3D Blast managed to have FMV and that was on a 16MB cart.

I always hate it when people seem to try making the decisions for others based on what they use.
It was bad enough when Ubuntu was losing faith with people because of its poor decision making, now we got you here saying Linux Mint is not the answer?
Confusing people on an already confusing mess on which distro to choose when leaving windows is not how you win favorability with linux. Mint is the choice because it is not pitching freshly disgruntled Windows users into steep learning curves from the get-go. If you push them into something like Arch, you’re going to have people both pissed at Arch and at you for making their experience miserable.

Welp, there you go. But, I never touch that shitty X platform and I don’t dare register an account there ever again to really care looking. Too much drama and cringe on that platform that has a sad stranglehold on many people’s lives.

Since it’s a Redditor and Redditor information is by default, to be taken with many levels of skepticism. I’m under the impression that this ‘criticism’ are probably in the form of people telling said Redditor that they’re a bullshitter.
I’ve done a quick search to find an image of this copy and I’m not surprised that I have not found it word for word. The only thing close that I’ve found was a letter he actually did write to Hollywood, back in 2012
So it’s likely that this Redditor, probably hashed up a made-up tweet image because it’s a common way to stir up bullshit, like any lowlife Redditor would want to do when they’re bored.
Oh and I ran a Google image search on this image and what came up? The Reddit post itself, go figure.
I stand corrected as someone actually pointed to the source.

I had a double take on that number they’re asking for.
$13 Trillion? Geez, fucking greedy much? Not that they haven’t been greedy before, but we’re used to seeing millions and billions that are asked per track (technically they’d ask ridiculous sums of like $10,000 ~ even $100,000 per track in the past). But this just glaringly demonstrate how greedy these fucks really are and they just gotta tell everyone about it.
I still say it was dumb of Anna to bother with Spotify but I like the defiance of just not caring.

I don’t fucking care.
It’s just one big event to see how much commercialization can be crammed down people’s throats. The Commercial Bowl isn’t too far away either.

I’d be for it. Just go in VR, the entire map of the store is before you. You’ll browse aisles, you’ll find what you want and there will be tickers to tell you how many things are left that is based on real-time information. No stupid fucking people in your way or anything.

Fuck off, Tim. The only reason people bother using your shitty-ass launcher is free games and you know it is true.

The only thing that’s being “damaged” is some executive’s plan to lobby or to buy their 5th home. Not to mention their fragile ego.

That’s 67 billion in USD for those curious.
I would say fake goods have more of an impact than piracy does. Come on now, how much more “research” do we need to disprove the “piracy causes lost sales!” claim?

I played and beaten the House of the Dead 2: Remake.
It made me glad I pirated that because, for what they’re charging, I got exactly the same experience I did when I bought the first remake. All it was, was just a graphical overhaul. It was still riddled with bugs, I felt a lot of my feedback weren’t connecting as much as I thought and it just felt like an overall cheap experience. I would never buy this if it was on sale. I got the first one for $7.49 when it was on sale a few years back, refunded it and got it again later when it was $2.49.
I would say that at that pricepoint, that’s exactly what those games should be priced at. They’re both an insult to the originals. I’m going to now go and grab arcade copies of these games.

No. I just got tired of dealing with virtual machines. I would’ve hoped that Wine by now would’ve allowed and accepted more 16-bit applications than just stopping at 32-bit.

Would you know if this works for 16-bit games? Like, I’d love to play the Hasbro cereal box games again. Yahtzee, Wheel of Fortune and all them. If so, that alone may just get me to join Linux Mint.

It should never even be questioned. Pedophilia will never be okay. Children cannot reasonably consent and if anyone thinks they do, don’t care to know what ‘grooming’ is or probably is a groomer to make a child believe that.

You’re a bit out of date on that one.
Because you’re thinking when he said that in 2006. It took until 2019 that he changed his perspective. Now granted that’s quite a time gap between 2006 and 2019 in believing pedophilia is okay. But he seems to have changed his tune on that. And people did make it known to him.

That’s honestly how piracy in general should be. But as we’ve learned, have learned and seemingly continue to learn. That, the reason a number of great piracy sources go down the way they did was because, someone had a very big mouth and drew attention that ended up costing us great sources that had lasted a good long while.
These days, it’s get your pirating in as much as you can, take your loot and provide only to those who know how and when to shut up.

The people running Anna’s Archive should’ve really known better. At one hand, I’m appreciative for what they attempted to do. But on the other hand, they’ve really painted a big target on their backs by scraping on Spotify. Now they have the RIAA legion sickened on them and they’re probably now going to get nuked by lawsuits and appeals. So, in a sense, Anna’s Archive kinda went and blew themselves up, screwing people out of a good source.
Oh, you’re welcome. I say as I’m not trudging through that whole blob of text.
