Keeping an eye out for the matrix commune-os project to get to ActivityPub support. Them and Forgejo and Gitlab work to add AP support!

Old graphic is all Is Nostr bigger than the fediverse?
K3s! You could even reuse your pis in the cluster.
I would deploy it to your new server, setup your CSI (e.g longhorn its pretty simple), find a helm chart for one of the apps and try deploying it.
Mindistry is a best in class game that is FOSS
I agree there too. I think the idea of different contexts would have to evolve to make sense where now the silos act as their own windows.
I mean why? Like there are things I think might be neat that is only really fediverse capable (like the idea of the everything app, by accessing the same data but through the users preferred UIs rather than reposts of screen shots or opaque links), but if someone sees an idea they like, why not run with that too?
We don’t have to use luckly (its was n3ver my cup of chai).
Are politician assassinations and decades to rig elections “nice things”? Because, yes, term limits are in fact part of the reason we can’t have " nice things" then.
Sure he was, just a democractically elected leader since the 90s who political opponents just can’t help eating known poisons.
Are Pussy Riot in or out of prison right now for dangerously be pro lgbt 8n Russia?
Its good to hear regular Tor is up and working for them.
Not supporting dictator censorship is a whim now?
Any alts for them out there that people could contribute too?
Google lens.
I love point and translate. Faster more pin pointed reverse image search is cool too.
Never heard of UP, what is that?
Gotta remember it was a response to water fall. Docs didn’t mean the man page or the wiki, they ment the spec sheet, PowerPoint’s, graphs, white papers, diagrams, aggreements and contracts, etc. Where you might go MOUNTHS making paperwork before you ran a single line of logic.
Docs SHOULD be the last resort of an engineer if your UX just can’t be intuitive in some way or some problem domain just can’t be simple. You should first strive to make it work well.
For example Lemmy, it just would work if you needed to read the Lemmy user guide first to post on Lemmy. That would indicate bad UX, but that was how it was back in the day.
Isn’t this what IPFS is perfect for? Long term distributed storage?
I don’t know of good guide, I used the README on one of these for a personal server of mine.
Gitlab’s offerings are always better. There isn’t a single feature that I use between the two that I don’t prefer gitlab.
Gitlab is still a better step in the direction. You at least have a path to using FOSS instances.
Gitlab working on federation along with Forgejo is big step in the right direction.
Love your project! Have you looked into bridging to something like matrix from discord?
I know when I was reaserching this as an option for secure development there was a pretty much just this group and jupyter notebooks.
