I like how this comment tries to justify a genocide.
‘Hey, we are the victims here. All these genocidal acts committed by us didn’t happen out of thin air. We can’t no longer endure them. So please, please let us commit all these atrocities so that we can be the perpetrators instead of the victims.’
Sincerely,
-The Zionists-
Yeah, at least give you argument so I can also laugh at myself too.
Anyway, take a look at this article that just came out just earlier, which means that by no chance it’s been referenced when I wtote my earlier comment. And do take note of the BOLD words.
The Core unit is responsible for building the technical foundation behind the company’s flagship products and for protecting users’ online safety, according to Google’s website. Core teams include key technical units from information technology, its Python developer team, technical infrastructure, security foundation, app platforms, core developers, and various engineering roles.
Something to consider but not for anyone: if youre thinking of using latex, why don’t just learn how to use raw latex packages. Download the packages and use your own editor and PDF viewer. It you’re using Linux, maybe something like [(neo)vim+vimtex]+zathura. Anyway you can still use LyX to easily create math formula by copy pasting. And for backup, you can use github (plus Dropbox) etc.
It’s going to be more expensive to hire and train new people when the dumdums in upper management finally figure out the mistakes
Unfortunately that’s not the case. Those who have been laid off are those paid high salaries to build up the foundation. Now that the foundation is already there, they future work won’t be as complex as before and need less training. So why would they still pay the very high salaries? They’ll just get rid of the used-to-be-important programmers and hire the can-be-hired-for-a-lot-less programmers from India. It’s sad, but that’s the reality.
Quite amusing that they choose Paria as the name for the company. I wonder if it has special meaning in local language. Context: Pariah
I have all except one: Decentraleyes instead of Privacy Badger, for no specific reasons.
you don’t understand, do you? This kind of post is out of place, has ‘attention seeker’ vibe - those that we rarely come across on Lemmy but usually found on Facebook.
this is better posted at Facebook.

It does sound like that. Exaggerated for sure, however it’s not that far from reality although to a lesser extend during 70’s, if I am not mistaken.
Yes, we can safely assume that those who leave NK are somehow working for the government either officially or unofficially and thoroughly vetted to ensure that they will come back to their glorious country.
Not just Japan. When they need language teachers and translators, they just dock their subs close to the beach of the country, and kidnap anyone they found there.
of course they can, to the countries that have diplomatic relations with them, but not many countries, of course.
Fun fact:
As of 2024, Malaysia is the only country in Southeast Asia that does not maintain diplomatic relations with North Korea.
If Kim Jong-Nam assassination rings a bell…

yep. Banana pi also use Windows-only Flashing Software. but that depends on the chip used, if I am not mistaken.
I’d recommend Orange Pi 5 plus. It’s much more expandable than OP 5.
There will never be enough RAM or storage.
Orange Pi 5 and 5 plus got 16gb. Orange Pi 5 got even 32Gb.
In general, to the not so educated or layman, commie=tankie=Russian. I know it is not accurate, but that how it is.
I am with you. I am baffled when non sequitur comment got more engagements and someone got downvoted for pointing it out.
Quality is not appreciated here, I suppose.
