Trails in the Sky First Chapter for the Switch. Never played anything from this series before but I’m totally vibing with it. The combat is super fun, the story is a slow burn but filled with a fun cast, and I really dig the art style. It’s not challenging or particularly dense, but it feels a sort of “comfort RPG” type voice that Dragon Quest seems to fill for a lot of people. Can’t wait to play more games from the series ☺️
Never played it, BUT on G4TV in the mid 2000’s there was a show called Arena (basically esports but they play several different games per episode) where the teams played Socom 2 a lot. Always looked fun though ☺️
Just played Dead Cells for the first time.
Ever since trying Hades I’ve decided to give Rogue Like (Lite?) games another chance. Dead Cells definitely scratches a metroidvania itch I’ve been having for awhile. Looking forward to giving it a few runs and seeing how much I like it!
TLDR it will play before the next Avatar movie in theaters in December. Probably will be made available on YouTube soon after
Been emulating Fire Emblem on GBA recently. I’m a recent fan of the series, started with Three Houses, so going back and playing the older ones has been on my to-do list for awhile now. Really enjoying it so far!

I just finished First Chapter, and yeah I’m starting to see why the trails games need to be played in order. I do have a steam deck so I might be able to play the ones that aren’t on the switch, but we’ll see.
I’ve never played the Atelier games, only heard of them. I heard that recipes and crafting play a big part in it, which normally isn’t my bag. Is there one that stands out as a good first one to try?
