“It’s about ethics in gaming journalism” was the common refrain for Gamergate proponents.
Can’t tell if you’re joking or not, but gamergate was absolutely not about “ethics in game journalism.”
NGL I think that’s a pretty crappy article. Very little of it is research, it’s just assertions and arguing his POV philosophically. He also gets basic things wrong, and says “civil engineers work on buildings.”
Men who would do this are definitely creepy.
That’s what op-eds are for though haha
