I’ll wait and see if they manage to get embedded system debugging to work properly. What I’ve seen in the past has been a pain in the you-know-what in that regard, showing clearly that their main focus was PCs.
Well, they took the risk to make big money.
Qaulity is better than … trying to post the whole article as a headline.
There are GSM modems that can be used by the server to send an SMS. I nearly bought one when it was cheap, but noticed just in time that the GSM level of that device was 3, which is no longer available here. And it needs a valid Sim card to work.
Probably. Even including the RAM on chip and the rest of the mainboard, too. Take a modern flash chip, and you can emulate a vintage sized HDD with it.
What is their intended market? I see no real use for such a box. Heck, even Linux will probably come to a crawl on that box. And you can probably build something ARM based for the same price with eight gigabytes of RAM and running circles around the 386.
I don’t know Proton, but if you are already in the highest subscriber tier, why the f do you still get ads?
I only look into kbin.social occasionally to see if they finally got their spam problem under control. They were nice maybe a year ago, but now it is a dumpster fire with half the main page being ads for drugs and junk services.
Have fun with your half-brick or whatever you’ll get in the package.
I once saw the Shrek book in a bookstore and paged through it. I often see that movies that are based on books have little to do with the original story, but Shrek absolutely took the crown. But where this usually is a turn to the worse, with Shrek this was exactly the other way.
That’s risky. Anyone who can access this can basically blow in some real voltage and power to burn the hardware.
Nearly everything. There are a few locks he can’t actually pick, and some others where he said he would use them himself, which I would take as a “basically unpickable for anyone else”.
I have no idea whether a smart lock ever entered this category.
Whatever lock you think of, check the lockpicking lawyer YT channel for it. If he has reviewed it, check how he rates it. In general, he opens those things in seconds.
No idea, it was a Spanish or Portuguese Easter cake.
There is a cake recipe that calls for 24 egg yolks per 250g of flour. Next step: make loads of meringue.
You don’t own anything that is not on your own system and/or without any DRM.
“Princess Peach: Showtime!” - call me a dirty old mnd, but my first thought was “A Rule 34 game with Peach?”
Well, I think it is necessary if you have mobile devices. Anything nailed down should be connected by wire, but if it is mobile, it should get the connection. Especially if the cell phone link is not that good inside the house.
The point is it is not just facebook, it is about nearly every media page here in Europe.
