Just taking a shot in the dark, but the photo in the article suggests it was kept in between pages of a binder. Warm climate, cheap materials, and under pressure makes me feel the disc is just degraded not fake. Regular Vinyl can get easily damaged, I doubt a cheapo mini version would survive decades with absolutely no protection.

A tweet of a paywalled blog story suggests lots of sexual harassment including sending unwanted pictures, inappropriate touching, and both physical and emotional abuse. Could be clickbait, could be on the money.

I understand, I have a deck hd screen and I don’t believe it would matter. I don’t know why so many downvotes on an objectively factual statement, like a retina display at 7 inches isn’t 4k, and idk who would seriously hookup a steamdeck to a 4k display where it obviously would never keep up at native. Yeah, I feel most people my age remember things like $1 or less beers and cheap bar food like 25 cent chicken wings? And just generally being able to hang out with couch change, like look we pooled $10 we can go out. The youth now have $12 cocktails and $7 french fries at the sketchy af “dive bar”, $20 drinks and $20 entrees if they dare step into a real place or heaven forbid an applebees.

The pi 5 and cm4* have pci-e lanes available. On pi5 you need a daughterboaed to use it.

We have a few of those in NYC/North NJ area, it is hard to find maps though. The current popular one is Hudson Yards which connects a few blocks arounds 30-34th streets on the west side of New York City.

I recall in NYC for a while, dollar coins were known as metrocard change from when they first started installing the Metrocard Vending Machines.

While I love this list, it is more applicable to the turn of the century than a a decade ago. I was half expecting to see “ram no longer has to be installed in pairs” on the list.
