Incorrect! They might not be right but absolutely they’re gunna blame everyone else. When you’re a whiny selfish asshole the world is your oyster and everyone else is fair game(but if they get mad at you you’re a special innocent victim).
That sometimes works, but sometimes the right way is not immediately comfortable so people so stuff that seems right and hurt themselves. Sometimes the thing that seemed correct initially was only because of a lack of deeper understanding and an ignorance of the knowledge of those who have already made the mistakes.
I dance, play instruments, drive cars, and do a whole lot of other things where the immediately comfortable thing is so often one of the best ways to develop a massively limiting habit that is a huge pain to get away from once you realize how badly it’s holding you back.
It’s a case-by-case basis, of course, but simply “the best is what you’re most comfortable with” does not have near the nuance it needs to not be abused. It is great advice for people once they have built up a strong base of knowledge, and until then they need to get over it and try things.
The restrictions are on people who are playing the game(and showing it off prior to release).
The restrictions are showing that the company selling the game is kinda shitty.
We cannot say for certain but it’s possible that someone(s) in the first group, the customers, is trying to disrupt the sales for a game from a shitty company.
The people who care about and released the restrictions and the people who would be affected by the attack are the same people. The attack isn’t about in-game themes because if it was they simply wouldn’t launch the game.
I think the idea is that even though when the bar is in the basement it’s still a joke to say it’s “controversial”.
In my white-collar career job I had bosses tell me that I shouldn’t complain about not being able afford rent without a roommate because [insert nonsense] and it’s like, is that the best they can do? They literally just looked at me like “we don’t respect you as a human being and refuse to have even the slightest ampunt of empathy” and then had the gall to squirm when I wouldn’t kiss their ass.
So yes, you’re right, but the joke isn’t quite going with that angle.
It’s go t a great vibe but…are those wheels looking weird to anyone else? Like, the car’s going straight but they’re doing their own thing. In fact the whole front of the car is going in a different direction to the back.

Plus it looks more fleshed out. Let’s face it, a clean and at least vaguely clear UI is far more trustworthy for 99% of people than a possibly sketchy one that seems to almost overcommunicate as far as they’re concerned.
Oh, and speaking of UI, the only app I have for Lemmy on iOS is through Testflight. Most people don’t have, want, or even need a desktop so if there’s no phone app then literally nothing else matters and that’s fair.
