They only care a fiscal quarter at a time. No ability to think longterm, they’re just constantly chasing number go up instead of building something strong and stable.

These people will also blame people eating out for why they’re poor and then complain about people not supporting restaurants. They will spit in the face of the mountains of academic research and obvious evidence otherwise which points out that crime isna poverty problem. They will do everything in their power to keep wages as low as possible and will raise prices on their products higher and higher as if anyone has the money to buy that shit. They will let you die so they don’t have to give up a single dollar even they already said that they would and should be accounting for it.

These aren’t smart people, they are animals running on monkey brain. They hoard and they scheme and they have very public temper tantrums when they don’t get their way. Sometimes we read the narcissists prayer as this clever deceitful thing but it makes so much more sense when you frame it as the desperation of a scared, cornered animal which knows it’s already lost.

When Apple had the iPhone X instead of the 10, it was a little weird but if made sense at least. And they didn’t go X > 10, but 9 > X > 11. I still don’t know what the Xbox was trying to do with the Series X, but I’m not sure they did either. And why “series”, what is that supposed to even mean?!

They didn’t just…update Teams? That’s insanity, but I also just fought with bluetooth drivers on Thursday on my PC and it was a fucking disaster mess shitshow. My favourite part was knowing that the control panel is still there and functional even though there’s “settings” now, which does essentially the same stuff but also it’s different and also if you’re a new user or not paying attention you might not even know the control panel exists.

Not only is it bad to start but they seem intent on making it worse with every update.

I said that because I already assumed that was your point and had to hand-hold you to lock that in otherwise this conversation was going to go even more nowhere than it was heading.

With communication skills like that you’re not gunna be organizing anything, let alone thousands of “squads”.

If you can’t figure out what I’m talking about and how someone can use familiar ideas to make an explanation more approachable then maybe more complex strategy isn’t your thing.

“Going out in squads” would only work with large crowds as a distraction if you had any level of organization and intent, which you would or it would be a fucking mess that you’d never control in the first place. You’d also be already at the guerilla warfare part of this revolution because what the fuck does that even mean when it comes to trying to show mass displeasure? Standing out front of ever politicians offices at once but never being remotely threatening because each “squad” can get its shit rocked one by one?

The problem is that, in D&D terms, you lose action economy that way. A thousand rats might only deal one damage each but all of them at once would obliterate even hardened adventurers.

If people split into groups then yea, the police and whatever would need to prioritize, but the groups could also be handled more safely. Two or three VERY LARGE crowds would be great, but “squads” of even twenty people, against a militarized force, would just be easy pickings. And it’s an exponential loss(just as much as adding people is an exponential gain) so it would be incredibly risky.

Ok so he’s threatening people who have the advantage with…something? I mean they could just as easily go “no, we’re good” and then the US would have neither chips nor factories.

If he’s hoping to have that technology here so the US can steal it, well obviously that’s crazy and these companies have already considered that.
