Just curious, why were wanting to replace Mullvad?

I do sub to whatever instances I want. And sometimes I go to All. It’s called an observation. It’s ok when people say things you disagree with.
That said I would like to see more diverse opinions and sources on my Lemmy feed though. There has to be a base somewhere that isn’t literal nazis but isn’t open socialists either.
Please, this. Lemmy is boring as all hell. 95%+ of users have the same opinions. It’s a giant echo chamber.
I’m sure there are some rednecks who call it that, but I’d be interested to know if there is a single, modern day public school text book that calls it that.
This is my favorite argument.
Completely forgot this was a thing. I don’t dislike Section 31 as much as some, but it gets me more Michelle Yeoh, who was one of the very few bright spots on Discovery, so I’ll take it.
To each their own, but Linux makes up 4% of PC OS market share. Can’t blame a company for not supporting such a small percentage.
2015 - 2018 was glorious. Netflix, Hulu, and HBO GO covered about 95% of my needs. Barely pirated anything.
While I overall like SNW (like, not love), Pike seems more interested in being a friend to his crew (at least the senior officers) rather than being an effective leader who demands nothing but the best from his crew. Picard and Janeway were great at this. They were friendly enough with their crew, but maintained enough professional distance to not get too chummy. Sisko less so, but he knew how to walk the line between friend and commanding officer.
One of my first “hacking” a device was putting Rockbox on a 4 gb Samsung MP3 player in 2010. This device wasn’t meant to play/watch videos, but Rockbox unlocked that capability. It had a tiny screen, but still.
2015 - 2018 I pirated very, very little. Didn’t need to. Between Netflix, Hulu, and HBO, I wanted for nothing. Then, every time I went to the bathroom, someone was creating their own streaming service. Suddenly everyone was pulling their IP from Netflix and Hulu. Netflix wouldn’t stop raising their prices. Their original shows are ok, but their movies are terrible.
Their first two are some of my favorite metalcore albums from the era. The Crusade dialed up the thrash metal. Didn’t care for much of it.
“I only bend the Prime Directive”
The first game kinda falls flat, but they put out a pretty solid sequel with the second game.
