Why not put it all in a sealed chest?
Why not put it all in a sealed chest?
When it comes from a pedo it gives victim blaming vibes. Like “she could have said no!” As a reason for why it was okay.
If only we had terms for environments that were ment for testing, staging, early release and then move over to our servers that are critical…
I know it’s crazy, really a new system that only I came up with (or at least I can sell that to CrowdStrike as it seems)
Don’t over think it, start small, a home server. Then add stuff, you will see that it’s not that crazy.
I personally have just one home server that locally creates encrypted backups and uploads them to backblaze.
This gives me the privacy I need as everything is on my server that I own while also having the backups on a big reliable company.
It’s not perfect but it fits my threat model
Try the docker version, pretty simple overall
I am surprised that no one mentions this.
Firefly III this is an amazing financial tracking and budgeting tool that literally saves me so much time and money, I even donate monthly since it’s so good and essential to me that I think it’s only fair that the developer gets something back.
I run the official docker with mariadb and it was never an issue for me
Nah, there are plenty of interns in the USA!
One day I will setup my security onion, but I’m procrastinating
I have a router with dd-wrt and I have VLANS where only my “trusted” devices are and another for everything else (like smart things or guests)
But I get your point, thank you!
It does though doesn’t it? since every device needs to be authorized by me first
Arch which is great, but I want to move to FreeBSD or Proxmox for security reasons
I get your logic but no amount of bugs will ever be enough to justify making the entire world change their idea of time.
Use something like no-ip, you can get a domain for free and renewing it every 30 days with a few clicks is much easier then managing a CA.
The only downside is the TLD but if you don’t care to much about how your domain name looks it really is the best option.
I use no-ip with letsencrypt, the LE bot does the certificate stuff for me, I use a single domain with different ports for each service and no-ip sends an email every 30 days to reconfirm the domain. Simple and easy.
There is Ohmyform which is great but not updated at this point.
It’s really basic, I wouldn’t recommend it as a form builder, more like a nice added feature.
Sick! Can you elaborate on the setup and devices used?
Yes, but if you have root or a supported rom it can install in the background, like the play store
And it only contains FOSS
F-droid
60 years ago:
Parent 1: I will work, make enough money for us to live well, buy a house, and retire while also supporting our children through adulthood.
Parent 2: I will raise them, take care of the house and we will both enjoy some time together when the nanny helps.
Now:
Parent 1: I will work and make enough money for us to pay rent and buy food. I will also take care of the kids, and stay in when you are sick or working.
Parent 2: I will also work and make enough money for us to pay for the kids education and basic needs. I will also take care of the kids and stay in when you are sick ir working.
60 years ago it was nice because you were a family first and still had money to live well.
Now these parents are workers first and still will be utterly screwed if an unexpected bill pops up (like a medical bill for those in the US or even a car breaking down)
It’s not that being a parent sucks, is that parents (especially for young children and babies) need to be parents first, and today’s society is worker first, if you are lucky you can have a second title, for most that title is either “exhausted person” or a second job.
